i'd call here but it is thinner than you think. remember that when you flop a set, there are only two remaining cards for AK to hit. usually he missed and you don't get a lot off him (unless he spazzes out). if he's got QQ-AA, you will probably be able to get all in if you hit, but there are still 4 other board cards where he could hit his higher set, which works out to about a 20% chance. my general rule of thumb when calling...

well we need like 12.5:1 to make it worth it. And even if we stack him we're getting slightly more then 10:1.

I edited the first chart because A2-A5 is actually unprofitable. I'll also note that this chart includes whether it made the flop or not, so the hands outside this range might be stealing successfully sometimes, but the profit you get from stealing isn't enough to cover the losses you suffer when you end up post flop, at least in my case. Poker clothing and posters, I don't know of any. Phil Hellmuth's Poker Brat clothing is shipped to Canada. Don't know what the shipping charges are, though. You should have gone to the Poker Expo earlier this month. They had a poker clothing booth there. As for magazines, if I do buy one it's usually at Chapters Indigo, or the Great Canadian News near the HOF or...

You say they stacked off with TPMK but then when they don't stack off in this hand you eliminate TPTK from their range and not TPMK (QJ, JT)?
Bet the turn bigger and call - either way you're committed here imo because his shove is only effectively for $22 or so.

Books are prettu much geared toward a specific topic in poker and there are many topics to cover. As a general introduction to poker Sklansky's book is a classic. After that you will need to decide what aspects of the game you want to read about and work on ( cash games, tournaments, odds and outs, ...).

You could do two things:
1 big private MTT that's a heads-up shootout. Byes could occur, and who plays who will be determined at "random."
or
A series of HU private MTTs that are all 2 players max HU so you can determine who plays who for each match.
The second idea is pretty much what you're saying, although I'm not sure if private tournaments that have a max of 2 ...
