When we finally got Andy to the ER (this happened three times, so I know whereof I speak) they gave him massive amounts and all times it brought him around and ...

No, Gary, haven't tried it, but let me know how it works out. I'm starting a trial of Azixa next week--also Phase II. Maybe we can exchange notes. You and I have been here awhile so they're doing something right.

Since my radical nephrectomy I have had three lung resections to remove Mets ranging from 2 that were 4 and 6mm in lower lobe of left lung one 9mm from lower lobe of right lung and back to left lung for a 5mm. I also had lymph nodes removed. I have been treated with IL-2, Interferon-A, Torisel, Sutent and now Afinitor. Your Dad should already have ...

I had surgery in early 2004 for what was thought to be a lung infection. During the operation a cancerous lymph node was found on my heart and needle biopsied (hindshight tells us it should probably have been removed instead.) I was later diagnosed with non Hodgkin's with tumours in my chest cavity and both lungs all inoperable. I declined all traditional treatment ...

My heart is with you. This is such a difficult decision to make. My husband was diagnosed January 5 and passed away on May 11 in Hospice. He had been thru more surgeries and treatment in those few short months. Unlike your husband, he was not able to walk, limited speech, and the eating was slowing down. I needed to bath him, shave him, etc.. But, he was going...

Danielle, YES,YES, I presume your sister had a nephrectomy of some sort. Are you saying that she had no follow with an ONC that specializes in RCC!!!!! I bet the surgeon, who like almost all of them said after surgery âDonât worry I got it allâ if that is the case I would not trust this âdoc!!â to refer her to a manicurist let alone an ONC. First, check ...

Some people start to feel a bit better after 3 weeks out, some 5 weeks out. I seem to ...

Hi Christine, I am doing something similar except with ice chips. My doctor suggested that I do it during the 5FU bolus and then for the next 2 days while I'm on my pump. Obviously this won't work if the patient is on Oxaliplatin due to the cold sensitivity. Jack
