Took the covers off. There is a clip in an open hole that you need to pry up to release the head rest.

Fuel pump removal on a 1988...
Published (2009-11-17 01:22:00)
I would assume you have the fuel tank out of the car. Assuming that I am sure you have disconnected the lines and electrical connections. The pump/fuel gauge assembly is removed by rotating a locking ring which has three tabs. There is a specific tool which will rotate the ring OR you can carefully use a screwdriver and hammer to tap the ring in the direction it needs to loosen the ring, note you will most likely have to tap on each of the...

'98 Intrigue cornering...
Published (2009-11-24 11:29:00)
I had a problem with the left cornering lamp not working on my '98 Intrigue. Replaced the bulb, but no help. Checked the socket for voltage with a meter and it had voltage but still wouldn't turn on the bulb. Turned out the contacts in the multifunction(turn signal/high beam) switch was bad. Luckily it was covered under an extended warranty.

Low Oil on my 2001 Oldsmobile...
Published (2009-11-26 11:28:00)
you need to make sure you are changing your oil regularly..you said your car has over 58k on it, and the sticker says 56k..well that means your 2k over on oil change and it is normal for a car to burn a little oil every 3k or so, beings you went over on oil change it doesnt surprise me that the light came on. Oil doesnt really "go bad" so to speak, but it does break down over time, like every 3k or 3 months, also the filter...

Installed the strut bar brace and it does feel better over the bumps.
Decided to get the aux fan and bigger front rotors, calipers and the
spindles. Maybe even thefront strutsand springs. My front brakes are
pulsing the springs feel floty at speed over ruff roads. Back feel fine and
are KYB's. Looking for Caddy core support braces too if he has any.

stock should be 195 I believe...Get a 180 and be done with it, won't
overheat in the summer, and will still warm up fairly decent and quick in
the winter.

I recently purchased a minty 1996 Olds 88 LS with 61,000 miles. It's a great car, rides nice, and am surprised to be getting in excess of 20 mpg in city driving. I do want to replace the tires and utilize new rims. The standard tire size for that model is 205/70-15. The '96 88 LSS sport sedan was equipped with 225/60-16 tires. Is it possible to use the LSS size tires and 16" rims in my LS and ...

I have a 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue, and when I started my car in a parking lot, my car said "Low Oil" & I thought, "What?"
So tomorrow, I'm going to buy oil at a local car store, a funnel, but I need to check the oil fluid level, and then, I'm going to go to Bonus Tire to let them rotate & balance my tires, change the oil, etc. My car has over 58K miles, and the sticker says that I need to ...

Hi everyone, I'm new here and my name is Andy, so just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone right off the bat.
So today I just bought my first car which happened to be a 2000 Alero. Everything on the car looked awesome except I noticed the drivers floor was wet. I'm not sure if the seller left the door open a crack or the window down and forgot about it because she seemed surprised that the floor ...

My 98, had a small hole under the right side tail light. Had water in my
trunk till i changed the bulb, and noticed the hole (no rust or anything
caused it, just a hole) little dab of silicone. No more water.
