Still no rain to speak of. Trails are in good shape for riding. With all of this wind I expect there to be must downed limbs so dont go 90 mph around those corners. This has got to be some of the warmest weather ever for November. Karen

What rouge22 said is right on. Plus I hate the team kits too! lol Seriously, education and cooperation on both sides it key. We have to remember that when we take our rightful place on the road, we are not only putting ourselves at risk we are also putting motorist and their passengers at risk. I know I would feel terrible if my presence were a contributing factor in a head on collision. Sure, I could point the finger at the driver for...

It sounded a ways off even when up on the top of the B loop, so it likely wasn't in the park. But there were long sustained bursts of heavy firing somewhere near there. I'd imagine we heard well in excess of 100 shots while we were there. Oh I love those semi autos,...

In paying, you establish a member list and can show these to potential sponsors of the club and get discounts or pro deals as they are called (not professional rider sponsorship as I...

Sticks...you would enter the new trail at the third switchback. It's the tught left hand turn befire the right-hand turn by the ravine. There is plenty of untapped land at Harbin that could easily tie into the existing trail without causing a "spiderweb" effect.

Thought I'd do a bit of organizing ... oh, pleeeze say it ain't so!! I took most of the supplies at the end of the evening. To know what we DON'T need for the next event ... in one spot, MVMBA has a count of the napkins, plates, bowls, etc. and I printed out supply list. Christine, of the 3 matching ladels I brought, I brought home one that doesn't belong to me, I think may be yours. We'll trade them up next time we...

That is a very steep price for racing...I hope they get a lot of interest to sustain it, but a little to much money to cough up for me. Doesn't this compete against the mohican 100???

Changed all my bikes to SS last yr. Have not dropped a chain on road or MT bike yet. I have 3 diff gear combos made for road bike ready to go, depending on how flat or hilly I'm riding. I use 8 speed chains with half links if needed. I have some extra parts and can help.

eh, last few seasons i just used two pairs of cheap gloves. inner was a stretchy knit nylon glove, outter was a typical 40g thinsulate glove you can get at any supermarket (it was a size larger to fit over the first glove). was good enough. i used them at 45 degrees and lower, otherwise i used thinner goretex windstopper gloves. around 60 i don't use gloves at all.

So I rode 7/1, high noon. Here's the scoop on the construction: there's one 100 yard section on a part of trail that hardly anyone would ride and that's it. It's on the new bail-out trail that runs by the beach and pops out on a road south of the beach parking lot, and the work is hardly worth mentioning.
The trail is in great shape. Only 3 soft spots in the entire place. There ...

Depends on how cold it gets. The colder it gets the longer it will take to dry. Either way I would probably avoid Shadow run since the flatter parts up top take a while to dry. Keep an eye on the HMBA forums for updates too and you may want to cross post over there too.

When you finally decide that the snow is too deep to ride in grab your boards and hit the trails.
** NEW THIS YEAR ** CMP allows XC skiing on the bridle trails (in the past they had discouraged this). Of course, always yield trail to the hikers and horses, and mind your speed on the hills.
Also, the following golf courses are open for XC skiing if base snow exceeds 4" (please ...

Was thinking about this topic...
Many clubs have sponsors that are available for either cheaper rates on products or services. A lot of times, it is a smaller club that gets a set discount to the members that have paid dues, etc. If the club is larger, it comes in the form of group buys, etc.
Is there a chance that this can be done with COMBO? Just wondering as a few people that...

Question, do you have the hunting schedule? I don't mind the bow hunters or the small game people but when it gets to be deer time I tend to stay away.

Hey it's Aaron B. and I am back in town until Friday morning (and then again for three weeks at Christmas). I want to see if there is any late support for a possible night ride at Momba or JB tonight 22nd? If not tonight I am free this week to get some riding in either mountain or road so let me know!

Dude best advice is hit the local bike shops and see what they have. I am sure all the shops in your area will have a few bikes that will fit your price range. _________________ Cincinnati Off Road Alliance member
