I'll jump in and say we spent a day/night on KY lake a couple weeks ago on our way back from TX, Land Between The Lakes right on the water by the boat ramp! We didn't have the boat this time but will be back.
Nice water..

Fack em,
I have never done anything special to carbs over winters, gas does not freeze unless you live at the south pole.

Congrats! Share some info:502 or 496? what size procharger? how fast? You should be happy with it. Just dont try to compare it to the 34. I had a cockpit cover made at a trim shop and bought a semi custom fit cover for a 30 foot boat for the full cover. Full cover is ok and does the job but you get what you pay for I guess.

You might want to check out LaveyCraft. They build a superior product thats quality is second to none. I would suggest either the 24NuEra, 26NuEra, or the 2750NuEra for you. They run a twin stepped bottom that is fast and efficient for all water types. Check out there website and give them a call, most down to earth builders in this market, and a family business.

I am just starting to look at the same thing so I am very interested in how this thread develops. I am looking at the Whipple package. About $7k. Their website says it is a direct bolt on to the 502 Mag and good for about 600hp, ecm reprogramming included. I have don't know what other mods are necesssary like cam, rotating assembly, heads, exhaust, injection, or whatnot. Does anyone else? ...
