I have, lots of little steps. Your front motor mount is pretty easy - do not jack the engine using the oil pan, use a block of wood, and jack it on the trans housing. 6 bolts (maybe 14mm) and it's out. The pan has a few more steps - you have to remove a piece of the trans housing (nothing major). You also have to remove the center cross member, and I believe a piece of the exhaust downpipe - not very hard stuff. I made a cardboard...

child seat latch question

Or just use the seatbelts (engaging the locking retractor) and a locking clip. That's what I do and not the LATCH system. You won't believe how snug I can get the carseats when I'm done...

They're a single-piece design - no shims.

Mike, sensor differs because of function, not necessarily shape. If you can't tell them apart without labels (See your constant advertising, you just said that I think), then it's the guts that differ. The Touring sends the car each tire's PSI for the info display. The other models just send in or out of range signal to car's dash light. Aftermarket guys got theirs to give in/out range, but not PSI. They're going back...

OEM FOG Light Bracket
Published (2009-11-20 02:04:00)
I got a set of fog lights that came with only the outboard brackets, and I'm going to see if I can do up a new bracket for the inboard side next week. From what I can make out in the Honda installation manual, this is a simple angle bracket, with 4 holes at the proper places.

power steering fluid change ?
Published (2009-11-21 19:24:00)
I changed the PS fluid on my 05 by frist draining the tank with a transfer pump, then removing it from its bracket to have the return line hole on top, the I disconnected the return line (wasen't that difficult). I was able to squeeze an empty motor oil quart in the engine bay and I put the return hose in it. Started the engine a few sec, emptied the quart, restarted, reemptied then had the steering wheel go full right and full left a...

I just got an answer from a Honda technician: "you will not be able to put the TPMS system into learning mode without a visit to your dealer".
The only way to reset the TPMS control unit is to hook the Honda Diagnostic Tool (HDS). I've look on the net for the fun... it over 7000$
So I guess that leaves me with no option and to do like others: a visit to my Honda dealer...

This is why they say if it ain't broken don't ......
The dealer told me the same thing last week when I picked up my Accord. They said, it sometimes makes the vibration etc worse. So, I haven't taken mine in yet. They also told me that due to the issues, Honda has stopped sending out letters to all the customers. Mine does judder/drone pretty bad so I might just take it in and see ...

Never done it on the Ody, but I did on other cars. Used the (wife's) turkey
baster to suck the oil out of the reservoir, refill with fresh fluid, start
engine, turn steering wheel right to left to mix the fluid, stop engine,
empty the reservoir again, and repeat for a few cycles. The extra couple of
$$ spent on PS oil repeating the cycle is less pain than disconnecting any
other line on the rack....

The only thing I can think of other than the starter is the battery. Watch the dome light when you turn the key to start the engine. Does it go out? If so, the battery cannot maintain voltage under the heavy drain of the starter and so must be replaced.

Need a little more information. Is the $20,000 coming from insurance due to a total loss, is someone buying the car, other? It depends on what is happening as to what to do.

I put on a set of summer performance tires with a treadwear rating of 500. Seriously, its kind of fun having a van that corners and stops on a dime.

If it's either, I hope it's limited to the "Limited" model only. The ~$12K+ added for the option would only take about 20yrs to pay for with the marginal fuel economy boost you'd get with a hybrid or efficient turbo diesel. I'll keep my ~$22K lowly LX model and 20mpg any day.

22mm is the size for the Gen3s. Always use a six-point socket to prevent rounding of the nuts.
