IBM PC/XT CLONE ?
Published (2009-11-22 03:24:00)
When pc compatibles appeared there were dozens if not hundreds of different ones. e.g. I have a Bristol Turbo XT, but, like yours, have never found any info on it. I wondered if yours has a date/clock but its battery has run done. Might be on the lower add-on card. Are there more files on the hard disk which appears to be 40 meg. Would suggest installing dos 6.n which is better than version 5. Good Luck - Mike.

Used games for free!!!
Published (2009-11-22 08:13:00)
Hi guys, goozex.eu are offering one free used game when you sign up to their website. The website allows you to trade your unwanted video games with other users and implements a points system as currency. You send a game to someone and earn points which can then be spent on a game for yourself. If you sign up to Goozex you will receive 100 free points. This is enough for a fairly old game but if you can think of a game you wanted to get a...

Published (2009-11-24 07:49:00)
I've got a Compaq Portable 386 which used to work well but has been in storage for several years. On switching it on today it counts the memory ok but stops with error code "162-System options not set - run setup. Insert Diagnostic diskette". Has anyone got a copy of this on a 5.25in floppy I could have please? I will of course pay any reasonable cost. I haven't got a working 5.25in disk drive other than the one in the...

AT&T PC6300 w/monitor, manuals
Published (2009-11-24 11:25:00)
I've been lugging around an AT&T PC6300 with dual floppies and monochrome monitor, keyboard, and all manuals for years now. Time to go. I'm the original owner, purchased at some point in the early 1980s. No boxes. It's in decent shape, and last time I tried it all powered up just fine. No software included. Make an offer, lowball included. Shipping will not be cheap, as this thing is big and heavy, so if you're in SE...
