Jeff or Tim Buckley?? Tim was the one who disowned isn't he? I prefer Jeff's stuff, love his voice. Went through Velvet Underground phase a good few years ago, must start to listen again. Saw Carl Cox many moons ago!

ROCD thread number 4
Published (2009-11-05 16:06:00)
Good idea! #3 was getting a bit excessive. I'm at my wits end. I'm going out of town for 5 days, so hopefully some time away from my boyfriend & everyone else will help. Sometimes I want to break things off just to get some peace. It isn't that I don't love him or enjoy his company, we've just been together for three years and I want my own experiences! I feel like I'm growing up and he's staying the...

I agree with LB...You are starting VERY VERY high. Like I said, one of the first things I did was put a picture of a rainbow on my desk, or write the word lesbian on a note card and look at it.

correct dosage for vit b6
Published (2009-11-05 15:54:00)
B6 are required when you are also taking protein supplements, and nowadays most good protein supplements have a lot of vitamins and minerals in them anyway. This question is better answered by your physician/psychiatrist/therapist. Instead of taking isolated B6, ask him if you could have a good protein supplement that also has all the B vitamins in it. Protein supplements also relieve anxiety. They helped me. You will need to take Vitamins C...

I would say go and look at these websites so as to get an understanding of OCD and how it can make a person feel. There should be naswers to a lot of your questions.

I know, I get really irritated by that as well. No one ever says "I'm just a little bipolar" etc. Hard not to put my two cents in when I see those types of quizzes.

You are not alone in your worries. Many people have suffered exactly as you are. While every one has different views on porn, it is a very common thing. Also, you said you are 23? It is normal to be attracted to 18 & 19 year olds. You are not that much older than them.
You clicked on a site that said 18+ year olds - that is not illegal as far as I know, althought I can understand you ...

Anxiety makes them seem so real, this is probably the shortest and most correct answer to your question. My reasoning behind this is that I really tested it out.

I would advise not checking for a response, and if one comes without checking pay no mind. You can't control your body or what it does, and with OCD I would say anything is possible.
My advice: expect a twinge, or an erection even, and try not to search for a meaning. Keep looking continuously. Searching for a meaning is a compulsion, and will only make the ideas stronger and ...

Meds rarely do the trick on their own (although that can work for some people), and it would be good if you got into behaviour therapy.
The road is incredibly tough, but it is rewarding as the therapy is very powerful.

Well I don't have a job (I'm a student), but I'm open about my OCD at school. All my friends and acquaintances know about, as do several of my teachers. I has some physical compulsions, so it's pretty obvious. I am not open about my psychosis/schizophrenia, because that carries a much bigger stigma. It does feel like a have this big secret, but I guess I'll just have to live with it.

cat - you keep with the therapy - dont check or seek reassurance even if a spike reappears, treat it as you did before, don't analyse, ride out the storm of ocd. You are over analysing again and you need to stop doing this.
