I second the suggestion above. The Studio 1555 is a good laptop Other one to consider is the Sony FW with 4650HD if you want better gaming capabilities.

I use to hate facebook. But now i think it has interesting interface. Its still really horrible to browse pics though. As for this i just cant see people using this.....This is like the IT version of facebook where you find your 40 year old WoW buddies.

I should work Mk-2 units take an additional 1GB pc2700DDR ram Could you try reseating the ram module a few more times, with the power off battery removed I have seen issues if the module is not installed right Alex

As an owner of both i will say the above post is spot on. I use the 28 more because it's all black and im too lazy to paint the 29.

okok I've just had too long of a day, that's all.. somehow, the nv4_disp.inf wasn't copied in all 3 drivers o.O.. however there is still a problem. it won't detect that it's an SLi setup, mind you I'm on 195.55. What gives? Edit: Just tried 186.81 but it still won't recognize SLi. Rivatuner reports GPU1 as an "Unattached Device". Why would it show that? The BIOS recognizes both GPUs no ...

my friend has one of these...just helped him replace the 6800 Ultra haha It was fun to work with and that CPU cooling is SICK but it is a little too....well, old for my hardware wants (thus my shiny M17x)

not bad, i always wanted to see how the size compared with the Asus and M15x. I like how the AW has a much neater and cleaner looking design than the G51. I do realize though that English is probably not your first language, which makes the review a bit difficult to read. But the pictures helped!

Ok so you've checked the power management setting in the IDT control panel (both of those boxes should be unchecked), your drivers are good... Probably a hardware issue. Call hp.

i would say ~$700 because a user is selling his w500 here for $725 and is not getting any buyers...perhaps less because he has warranty...

My Studio XPS 16 was delivered to me at 12:05 Eastern Time. I am in the process of doing a clean install of Windows 7 RC as my laptop was installed with Vista. I will have to wait for the Windows 7 Upgrade when I can register the service tag for the free upgrade. - Garrett Cin, thanks for the congrats!

wow, # 3 my m1730 is a slug... after getting it back from it's 2 month stay at depot, i am just thoroughly disappointed... my 8800's have been replaced with 8700's without permission and only one of the 5 or 6 things wrong got fixed... in 2 months. and dell wants me to send it back to depot to have them fix what they broke... this is the invoice... no mention of the gpu downgrade...
