Hi starlet78, welcome to the board! Congratulations on your engagement! My DF purposed without a ring too. For us it actually worked out well, he waited until my Mom and Dad were visiting, and went shopping with my Dad, and I was able to share the "check out my ring" moment with my Mom. I, personally, have never seen the pink chocolate rings, but I understand wanting something different....

It must feel great to have the church and reception venue all lined up. And you're absolutely right, now everything else can happen a a much slower pace. I think it's awesome that your DF is so involved!! Now that the venues almost in the bag, what are you going to be turning your attention to next?

Our wedding colors are White, Black, and red. Even when I was younger, I've always wanted those colors. I do plan to add a little damask pattern through the wedding.
