Yes. I think the Yanks will think pretty closely what they think is the story about those guys (Joba, Kennedy, Hughes, Wang) before going after any new guys.

Your number 2 hitter should be a contact hitter; a type of hitter like Damon/and or Jeter. He strikes out way too much...but he would be a fine addition to the Yankee team but should the Yankees wait a bit more to see what comes out of Jackson before considering to trade him?

This is why the official scorer should have a say. Team losses too. Why should a pitcher get a loss when he did his job. Say a fielder makes an error that leads to the other team winning. Now can they replace Melky if he can't play anymore? I think so. With who?
