Hahahaha! Jen, I tried to watch it online but it didn't work...I'll have to Hulu it. I find Segal fascinating in a train wreck kind of way. We had a truly bizarre cop-pulls-gun-on-snowballers incident in DC during the blizzard yesterday. Just another day in the capital.

You did that thing where you start a thread in the wrong city, right? I did that too once. No shame in it.

Wacky weather makes people do crazy things, I guess. The key to Seagal's show is that he believes in Zen Tazing...or at least that's the rumor. Try not to go too stir crazy while y'all are all snowbound up there

For delicious benedicts, omelettes, french toast and waffles, PLUS all your brunch fave beverages try Cafe at/On The Square. It is at 500 Saint Charles Avenue, next to Layafette Square Park, Sat and Sundays they have their brunch menu, and Mon through Fridays a breakfast and lunch menu. I believe Petunias Closed in the summer.....

Those are all great suggestions! When heading to Frenchman walk up Decatur street starting at Jackson Square. There are good restaurants and bars along the way to check out. Yes it may be a bit of a tourist thing but have some beignets and cafe au lait while in the quarter. If you have never been it's a must. Check out Guy's Po-Boys (504) 891-5025 5259 Magazine St New Orleans, LA 70155 It's a little hole in the...

I'm currently working honing my DJ skils in New York and will become a resident DJ at a local lounge in my neighborhood. I'm already thinking way ahead and want to know what's poppin everywhere else. At the hottest clubs in New Orleans, what are the DJs playing besidesssss Top 40?

Cooter Brown's has great beer selection. Balcony Bar is a nice spot. I personally like to go Mid-City to Parkview or Rendon or the Red Door, as well.

You might try "Eat" (900 Dumaine Street, corner of Dauphine) they serve brunch on the weekend, but I believe you can get breakfast meals during the week; they're closed Mondays and open at 11 Tues. - Fri.

The idiots in my 'hood love to shoot firearms, so I try to be far away from the maddening crowds @ midnight. But, Cure or Delachaise would fit right into your idea of a great cocktail bar, too. They're both outside of Canal Street/footballers/wannabe ballers. If you're staying in the FQ or CBD, then it's a crapshoot for other options, because everywhere will be insane on NYE. Come to ...

As I mentioned before, we're having a get-together for the holidays and to celebrate our sixth anniversary. If you would like to join the NOLA Eats gang, anyone and everyone is invited. Well, almost everyone. No smelly people. http://nola-eats.com/h... If you will be stopping by, please let me know at the above link.
