Because people like your self want gastric bands on the nhs, and the women who want boob jobs etc etc straining the nhs to the point it cant get around to everyone. These things shouldnt be allowed on the nhs and it wont be long before they're stopped completely.

Hi Jo, Thank you very much for the offer but I think hubby and I are nearly there. We have been through a hell of a lot in the time we have been together and we occasionally have little hiccups like this but we can work through them and make the marriage that we have stronger. I realise he didn't think he was doing anything wrong and he now understands that it was - men are such daft creatures!! We have 2 beautiful children together (one...

Hello all! I've thought about posting this for a long time. I'd love to hear as many personal takes on the effectiveness of meds. as possible - my own experiences were not good on medication (SRRI's - side-effects throughout my years on them, and after the first couple of months on the first type of four tried, they were ineffective ), yet I know that other people can find them to be really helpful - even life changing? Anyone...

one night stands right or wrong
Published (2009-11-24 11:40:00)
To the Original Poster Whether one night stands are right or wrong is all to do with the person perspective. It is 2009 and society has changed. It is more socially acceptable for one night stand but i dont think they are a great idea for men or women but not necessarily wrong they are not evilly motivated lol. Personally i have had one night stands in the past and i have never found any of these experiences fullfilling truth be told and i am...

Isolation turn-on?
Published (2009-11-24 12:27:00)
If I were you, I wouldn´t let other people spoil your new relationship. If your friends get distant from you because of your new relationship (where you are happy and deeply in love), then they are not real friends. It is a question of priorities - in my case I would choose love and a satisfying relationship, not friends who change their attitude to me because of my way of seeking happiness. If you have any doubts about this relationship,...

weeping Venus- it is you who has a problem with sex, not your husband. You sound like a frigid wife...so why did you get married in the first place if you don't want sex with your husband? -just to have a nice house? -You are certainly not an abused wife...I dont think you know the meaning of abuse- either physical or verbal. You just don't have a clue do you?

Hi All
Well i'm now 3 days late but i'm putting off testing as i don't want to be disappointed again.
I have been so tired that in the last 48 hours i've had 26 hours sleep which is not at all like me i'm normally quite an early riser even on a weekend. I've been experiencing headaches on and off over the last couple of days and my whole body aches. My breasts are swallon, tender...

I would reccomend doing some research and looking at all your options.
The kind of operation you should go for is governed by what type of eater you are.
Volume eaters would be better by restriction so the gastric band or the sleeve gastrectomy woould be better.
If you are a chocoholic then the Bypass RNY would be the better option as this works by mal-absorbtion.
If you are really...

This will sound like an airy fairy answer but when it feels right. You have to make the dicision. I would introduce your partner to the child before letting him move in though. Sex is a different issue. A child should never be informed on your sex life so provided the child isnt around when you feel like you are comfortable enough with the relationship to have intercourse.

the period stories are true, the average period on the copper coil is around 10 days studies show and are generally more painful
considerable weight gain is another side effect.
also the risk of womb perforation is higher with the copper coil than an IUS ( hormone coil)
the other side effect is acne

Hi Terri,
You have found a great place to tell your story and ask questions. There are are numerous partners of people with depression on here and I am one of them.
Our situation isn't uncommon and it realy helped me when I realised that. It means you can assure yourself that you aren't to blame (or alone) learn how to deal with things and get first hand advice and support.

Hi
I'm going to take my chances. I'm not having the swine flu jab as I don't think enough research has gone into it yet. I'm quite anti pills and jabs any way and feel guilty just taking paracetamol. I always get offered the normal flu jab every year but always refuse it any way so this is no different to me.
It's completely up to the individual and if you'd feel safer having the ...

If you haven't already done so, please speak with your husband about how his behaviour is making you feel. I suspect he realises he overstepped the mark when you was asleep and hopefully he won't try that again. You do need to talk with him though to try and reach a compromise of what you may be willing to do if he wants 'it' but you don't (eg. hand job).

No its not. The morning after pill really messes up your cycle.
Dont rely on this as your main form of contraception as A. it isnt as effective as the normal pill b. it messes up your periods and can even make you feel quite ill.
As long as you have done pregnancy tests I wold say you are not pregnant and it is time to consider getting yourself on a more perminant form of ...
