Does Japan have a safety problem with its nuclear facilities? Operations at the plant, in the Shizuoka Prefecture, southwest of Tokyo, have not been affected. The cause of the leak, which saw 53 liters of water contaminated by more than 300 times radiation the amount permitted, is being investigated. Twenty three workers were exposed to radiation after a leak at Chubu Electric Power Co.'s Hamaoka nuclear plant in central Japan, the...

Israel's strategic situation is essentially the same now as it was during 1948. They are surrounded by Islamic nations who want to exterminate them. Since their population is so small Israel must emphasize quality over quantity.

It's my understanding that depending on cable payout and ship's speed you can dip a towed array below the layer as well. No active mode though of course.

I think he's just trying to make a buck for his 15 minutes of fame....... You think he would've been able to do that under Saddem? Yep and na. Although there is some chance one of Saddam's boys would have made him famous by the method in which they brought about his death . . . they were rather creative apparently.

I would submit to you all that the mere fact that the MSM is staying far away from this story is evidence enough of its validity and its ramifications all the way up to the White House and Congress. Just as in the ACORN scandal(s) and Jones, they are terrified of the possibility of this somehow smudging the vestments of der Leader..... Prove me wrong. So you onyl beleive what the MSM tells you and what they don't bother too, its is a...

If your thinking of buying this game there is the facility to download and
play a limited try out game. Worth trying before buying because you need an
up to date computer with a decent graphics card to get the best out of it.
Unforunately my steam powered computer is not fast enough.

Only if they were dropped very gently onto a mattress from about three feet.
Without checking any penetration data, just from common sense: of course not - they were designed to penetrate buried reinforced concrete.

Rumour has it, that when Obama was making his decision on Afghanistan, the UK was pretty much out of the loop, even upto the PM. Mark you its been presented
that even within the US military a lot of key players where out of the loop. The Chicago Mob that Obama is part of and surrounds himself with is not adept at
letting outsiders in.
Whatever the truth, some things are eternal, a new US ...

As a British-born Canuck, I'm surprised more of us aren't choosing Canada. I've been here since the 1970s and the country's been great to me.
That said, I've never been to Oz, and the Canadian winters are chilly.

if and i mean if the whole mess becomes widely known it will damage and
perhaps end careers, damage or close departments, and see lots of money go
to other places. the problem is that the media in the US is pretty much
trying to ignore the whole mess. still it should be harder for people to
claim that pure science is infallible and free of politics.

I have wondered about that also. The export version with miniAegis and VLS is not enough. A bigger gun on the bow would make sense if you run into vessels of
corvette size or larger. As for speed, I think it's value would be the power to engage and disengage surface combat with enemy ships easier so as to give
greater advantage to our LCS fitted with the Aegies, Mk 41 VLS and a gun of 127-203 ...

So if British foreign policy ever deviates from what Washington wants, the UK's aircraft will find themselves stuck at the back of the queue of other
aircraft waiting outside the reprogramming facility.
