Its going to be awesome when the player with an ancient 2.0GHz P4 cpu and 1gb ram gets server hosting responsibility... As i said already, 9v9 is lame. i usually play 16v16 (or 10v10 Hardcore)... less players just means running round more and less action (i spose they had to do that so the PCs can cope with handling all the players) No leaning either? bullet penetration keeps leaners in check...

Its probably due to the case that lucid will just screw things up on what NVIDIA probably is planning to due, Lucid chips are for using gpu's in combination to provide the most scalable rendering for a game, something NVIDIA is getting better at themselves. I would think with the push for CUDA apps and such things like PhysX during game play things might not work correctly with drivers and the whole dawn of GPGPU and a Lucid chip. Just a...

just put the gts 250 in the primary (top) slot, and the 8800gt in a lower slot. then go to the nvidia control panel and change the physx settins so that the 8800 is being used solely for physx.

Greetings all, I hope you are becoming comfortable in the expanded forum. As some of you are probably aware, the merge was not a perfectly executed operation. We are seeking your assistance in compiling a list of current issues within the forum; if you could leave a brief description of the problem itself and a means of reproducing it, we would be extremely grateful. Bear in mind that...

I think it's a great thing and I wish those two the best of luck with it, but I got a question... ...what was it that brought about this good thing? What made it happen? Is this the beginning of a trend?

QUOTE Also, why do you include func_macro.h in your incrocio.cpp file? Are you sure it shouldn't be incrocio.cu? yes i'm sure. incrocio must be .cpp. it includes a lot of useful functions for my cuda file. QUOTE It seems for some reason the compiler is dropping quotation marks and has problems with directories containing a space? (Look at the generated errors! - what is...

All: I've finally got a simple project, the matrix multiplication example, building and running correctly on Xcode with the CUDA Xcode plugin! It is attached here. Note that emulation is enabled and I haven't tested it on real NVIDIA hardware. This is working for me on a MacBook Pro with OS 10.5.3 and CUDA 1.1 beta. Hope this helps! Attached File(s)

Here's my limited understanding of what's going on, from reading tons of stuff online and my own experimentation. 1. Windows Vista and Windows 7, and the related server OSes, need a monitor (or dummy plug) attached to a video port in order to detect and use additional video cards. Usually, making sure that all installed GPUs show up in Windows Device Manager is a prerequisite (but ...
