Are you stating that you are having a drop of FPS while gaming online? If so I would look to maybe the ISP or sever slowing things down.

im guessing mastercam x4 mu1 is some sort of CAD program? if so then look carrefully at what drivers your Quadro's are running, i have limited experience with SolidWorks, and that required the computer to be running drivers that had been certified as working by the solidworks devs, their website listed and in fact hosted certified drivers.

I don't know if the bios hacks were fixed in the new 200 series cards, but I do know the 8xxx series and 9xxx series are still flashable - at least to quadros. This actually opens up one other possibility, again I am not sure how windows will act (seeing as I do not own enough hardware to test this) BUT you might try running the 9xxx cards as quadros, Windows 7 DOES allow for 2 sets of video drivers to load. So if it is a driver...

An unlocked multiplyer means you can RAISE the multiplyer above the default. Normally you can only LOWER the multiplyer On a default AMD CPU, you have the FSB x Multiplyer = Core Speed (eg a 4200+, 200 x 11 = 2200MHz) An unlocked multiplyer means you can overclock without changing the FSB (eg on the 4200+, 200 x 12 = 2400MHz ~ 200 x 13 = 2600MHz) Lower wattage CPUs produce less heat.

Unless you still run Cell Factor: Revolution, you have no need for an AGEIA. The GTX 285 can handle the load at about an order of magnitude above the Athena even while working the graphics. I gave mine up when I started running GTX 260s...

Tried Forceware 190.62, 190.38, and now 186.18 Same result for Stalker:CS and Cryostasis on the reboot front. I think I just made some headway though. I was staring at the Nvidia control panel scratching my head, and I decided to turn off "Multi-GPU mode" just for craps and giggles. Stalker now runs. Consistently. As does the Cryostasis tech-demo. WTF. OK so i'm reading stalker has ...

I currently have a AMDX2 5400+ 2Core and want to upgrade to a Quad Core Black Edition. I was looking at the different types and seen a variation in Wattage. My question is: Is it better to have a low Watt CPU or a High Watt CPU? What is the main difference between them both? Also what does "Unlocked Multiplier" mean? What is special with the Phenom II vs just a Phenom? Sorry for all the ...

Oh, okay, I didn't know how the dual-core thing worked, then what does the other core do? Allow different information to be computed on two different cores allowing both to do more? And I was planning on getting a new PSU. Also I am working on a mod for the UE3 engine, it uses Phyx, though it is hard to work on as it runs so slowly.

Don't use ntune use MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision to set the fan speed manually.

Greetings all, I hope you are becoming comfortable in the expanded forum. As some of you are probably aware, the merge was not a perfectly executed operation. We are seeking your assistance in compiling a list of current issues within the forum; if you could leave a brief description of the problem itself and a means of reproducing it, we would be extremely grateful. Bear in mind that...

It should work without to much issue. The 295 can be a beast to get tweaked right with your rig to get the best performance out of it. You have a nice setup but at stock clocks you may run into a bottleneck. What resolution do you game at and watch video? Also what power supply do you have?

Coolermaster 932 better cooling, quieter fans, more space and slots for cable management, PSU mount top or bottom, better case, and water cooling ability. I have both cases and modded my Thermaltake since it had small louder fans 92mm in rear and top compared to 932 that comes with 230mm fan mounted top, front and side. I also like to add my temps were a lot cooler in HAF932....

Yes it is I believe the OS reads the Vram first. And because its a 32 bit OS and is limited to seeing no more than 3 gigs it subtracts the value of the Vram.

Looks to me that the installed drivers were corrupted during install. Most likely due to not completely removing the previous drivers correctly. To completely remove the old drivers you must remove all associated *.nv files as well. -Uninstall nvidia drivers via control panel -> add/remove programs -Download and install "driver sweeper" -Download and "save to desktop" new drivers from ...
