Just recently I was approached by a group of HOA's in my area about "humanely" getting rid of some coyotes. When asked to defined "humanely", I was informed that they wanted them trapped and relocated to another area. When I said, you'll need to kill them, they got up in arms and called me a murderer. They saw that they really hurt my feelings and we had a group hug..... I feel much better now....

Right now, no where. Once the flows return to normal you shouldn't have any issues at any of the put ins. Paces, Whitewater, Cochran, etc.
But this is based upon last year before the flooding, from what I've heard there are holes where there were not any last year. Just pick your spots, take it slow until you learn the area.
Every spot will have areas that will be over your head, ...

While a .357 makes a great revolver for the home, you'll want something bigger while in Bear country..
This would be at the top of the list for me..

There isn't parking at Silers. It is about a 5 mile hike from the Clingmans Dome parking area. The road to Clingmans Dome closes on Nov. 30. This time of year it is a long hike down to Hazel from anywhere near the top of the park. Try this website-www.cs.utk.edu/~dunigan/gsmnp/mrsid.php. You'll have to copy/ paste it. It is a clickable trail map of the Smokies. It has some cool features. I use ...

Raptor, I am sure you are going to get a variety of answers here so I will start. I have smoked several turkeys on my "Egg" and they are great. As to brining, I have never done it before although I am going to this year even though I am cooking mine in the oven. By what I understand from reading, brining will give you a much juicier bird. So I would say try it. I have read that brined birds will ...

I would say I envy you, but I really don't think I have the back for something like that anymore. I'm happy for you on a catch that you will remember for the rest of your life. Good thing you got pictures - just let the doubting Thomases in the future convince themselves that your full of it, then whip them pictures out and drop their jaws.

That is a tough question. But I would keep the bootfoot waders for the time being and wear extra pairs of socks.......
Go with the combo. I would suggest either a 4 or 5 weight, probably the 4 weight.
But what do I know? I have two 3 weights, a 4 weight, 5 weight..........I think I need to check into FFA - fly fishers Anonymous......
