Reversed means it's for a front axle, high pinion - unless I'm thinking backwards, in which case it means it's for a front axle, low pinion. Pretty sure I've got it right though

Wanted: Packing foam.
Published (2009-11-07 21:21:45)
What I'm looking for is plastic, not styrofoam - something that will stand up to moisture. The stuff I'm thinking of I've seen in the packaging when you return a satelite receiver in a box - it's dark gray/black, has some give but firm and generally a few inches thick. I'd like to find a couple pieces about 18" square or larger, and 4-6" thick. A solid piece would be great but will consider anything...

Might be the steering stabilizer, mine is starting to go out and when I turn slightly to the right at low speeds it kinda makes a popping noise. Also actually check that everything is tight. The hand check is ok to start with but many components can be loose and you still wont be able to move them with your hand.

You need to do a full brake inspection if your pedal went to the floor--it is not safe to drive.
Yes, having the exhaust pipe blowing on the brake lines is bad.
To test the power booster, engine off, pump the pedal 4 times and then hold it down, start the engine and the pedal should drop about 1". If it does the power booster is doing its job, if not replace it.
Your pedal ...

XJ, TJ, ZJ and WJ seats have all the same mount points, and will fit all of the bases. The ZJ electric base is taller than the stock XJ base, and does not bolt in. If you swap an electric seat onto the manual XJ base you will lose the electric front/back and up/down movement of the base, but will retain the heater element, electric seat back and electric lumbar if you hook up the wires...

I don't really setup convoy's to events, but its happened a time or two that I've left my place with 2 rigs and arrived with 10-15 in tow.
Watch for an XJ on the 210 heading to the 15 sometime thursday or friday. See if you can catch up.

Don't forget to look at JCR and Rock Krawler. Both have nice setups for around $350.
EDIT: Iron Rock Offroad also has a kit similar to Rock Krawlers

What is the general concensus here, to put the two most worn tires on the front of the vehicle, or the rear? And when i say "the vehicle", I mean my 91 4wd XJ 5 speed 4.0L.
I'm asking because my buddy is letting me use any of the tires he has kicking around, to replace my worn out and scary Toyo's. I'm doing a lot of highway driving in the coming months and righ now it is three or ...

You're in the wrong forum and this has been covered a hundred times in the right one ..
BUT
Gear 4.56 or 4.88 and you'll get the best mileage. Depends on the driver and weight, etc, but between 16 and 22 mpg.

In the 8.25, I don't think so no.
Are you sure you shouldnt be going to 4.56?
