I just bought an
Iguana and I have been holding him quite a bit but he doesn’t seem to be calming down any. Every time I reach for him in the tank he gets real scared and tries to whip me with his tail. When do you think he will calm down? I have had him for about a week now..........

Indian Star tortoise female. I’ve not measured her myself yet, but she’s around 6 to 7 inches (they can start laying eggs at 7.5). The seller says she had been in possession of an older man for four years until the last several weeks when he sold her (and the others); but she’s definitely wild caught, from India. I was lucky ...

This came up in a different forum and seemed worth a post of its own: What sort of risks have you taken for wildlife (to see it/photograph it/rescue it/feed it a Christian)? Was it worth it?

I recently visited Alaska and ended up hiking near Alyeska Ski Resort about 40 miles south of Anchorage. I found these tracks and am pretty sure they are mountain lion tracks. From what I’ve read
mountain lions are very rare there. Any thoughts? Kellye http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti on=viewImage&friendID=282203864&albumID=509734&ima geID=10123812 http://viewmorepics....
