Repeal laws preventing the crew members from being armed. These ships can usually see the pirates coming, a few well placed sniper shots and the pirate boat will be in trouble.

This poor man! He was probably rebelling against the government’s attempt to keep felons from owning guns. He is truly an amazing libertarian, rebelling against the authorities attempting to separate him from his second amendment rights.
