Slávek would certainly be possible. Slávek can be used for more names though - for those ending on "slav" (Miroslav, Dobroslav, Radoslav etc.) Maybe also Dobroslávek.

For me, bílá káva is any ersatz coffee with milk. Melta needn’t be with milk. Quote: However, Vitakáva, which is an instant coffee substitute (similar to Melta, but nt containing sugar beet)… I remember Bikava from my childhood, I guess Vitakáva is some Vitana’s analog of it, isn’t it?

Tom, I think the recipe is for something else. Kind of sounds like a variation of mocha, maybe they share same name in Czech? Just guessing here…. When it comes to fancy coffee I’m more of a cappuccino girl. But the product in the first link definitely looks like what Jana described, so it’s really awesome that it still exists. Thank you

Could be shorter, but I tried to keep exactly the same meaning with as little alterations as possible; and of course using monosyllabic words only, with the exception of the three words in itallics (let's say I'm just lazy ; now it should all...

Where are you from? Most of the websites sell only within the Czech Republic or Slovakia.
Just google for formičky and you will find a lot of sellers.

The authentic Czech form of the surname is most likely Radiměřský ( female form Radiměřská), Czech form of the name Charles is Karel, German form is Karl.

Is it something like " Mostly we get on and we will have a lot of fun"?
In this case the verb "užijeme si" doesn't mean future tense.
I would transate it like:
Mostly we get on and we have a lot of fun.

Reminded me this:
Quote:

I don't think so, other than to scatter on egg-washed bread rolls before baking, but I posted something about this a few weeks ago and was told that you can use the coffee grinder attachment of a mixer.

I have seen this movie several times, for the first time in Aero cinema. Akward but interesting, well worth those €2 / $3. I would like to go there too, however spending €2000+ for one week ... it is more then my 3 weeks budget for next year USA trip . Sponsor welcomed!
Yvan, is there some "added value" in the DVD, or just the movie with one sound track and english subtitles?
