Mr. Clean at work! That stripper is working but it does take extreme paintence. Like I said before it may take more than a six-pack or two to finish the job.

Filed under: Coupe , Performance , Dodge , Police/Emergency Dodge Challenger R/T Police Car - Click above for high-res image gallery We like police cars. Seriously. Just not when they're filling our rearview mirrors, blue-and-reds ablaze. Then, our fanboy status diminishes markedly. In the meantime, however, we get pretty jazzed when a department does something a little different and cool. This week's example comes from the Broward...

All the trannys can be used as good units if the proper mods are done. All can be made to 70-71 specs as for the hemi units. The item that needs to be done is to have the drum machined out to accept a nother clutch and dics.A good tranny shop with a lathe can do this,or a machine shop.Srvo lever can be swapped out no big deal and other mods at home, alonf with top quality parts and a valve body. 3681864 74-75 440 3681866 74-75 400 3893753 740400...

No Flap it wont attach to the pinch weld. unless you damage the seal of the window you cant attach anything there. Here is a discussion i had with Year one Tech Support. This is not for debate but rather for searching in the future. " There were at least 2 different styles of rear window trim used in 1968-1970 2 door B-bodies (excluding Charger, Superbird, etc). It does not always follow a set pattern as to which cars got which trim....

QUOTE (the nitro man @ Nov 19 2009, 10:01 AM) what kind of throat work? slimming the guide boss? what would be the ideal valve job? i'm going to be using a kb215 piston, i'll have to have part of the step cut off to get the propper quench with the open chamber heads. what kind of compression do they usually have with this set up? if it's a bit on the high side, i could run a bigger cam to bleed of some cylinder...

What I see,is not what car they drive, but their age. I do HATE the sound of the little toy engines, but I see them doing the same stuff I was doing at their age. Now that I am older, I enjoy cruising and enjoying the sights. They seem interested in showing off for the girls, and getting to the next place as FAST as they can, even if it is wreckless at times. Lets face it,We all love speed...

I don't have the specific dimensions of the stripes, nor do I know what color they were, but I wanted to give some insight about Le Mans stripes in general. An autobody repair shop that deals with classic cars may have the stripe specs on a computer system. In the event that you or whoever will be painting them don't have experience with Le Mans stripes, they are not a single width. They...

QUOTE (jim77070 @ Nov 18 2009, 01:07 AM) Which 8 3/4 carrier is correct for a 1970 Duster 340 and 1971 Duster 340? Does it matter if they were 4-spd or autos? The notes from my 1970 Duster 340, which I sold in 1974, show that I recorded a 3.55 posi but not the housing numbers. I think the "489" case 8 3/4 Pumpkins are correct for 68-70 cars. Doesn't matter 4 gear or auto, as ...
