It is hard to believe that Miley Cyrus is only 17. She has done a lot of stuff and has Hannah Montana is amazing popular with girls from as young as 3 or 4. What an amazing marketing job!

I liked it. This is one of those movies that's a great rental but IMO, not worth seeing in a cinema. The movie rental business has really helped a lot of movies and i think this is one of them. Karl

Jason Statham

I love him but not as James Bond...he'd have to have hair then and that'd be a big no no for Jason. He just wouldn't be the same without his shaved look lol Plus I can't stand James Bond movies lol

Is this the movie about the waitress who made pies and was married to a loud m outh abusive husband? She got pregnant and started sleeping with her doctor? If it is I loved it, it was a sweet movie and the pies looked incredible.

I have hit a snag. Not sure if anyone's aware, but when I try to view my collection, I can't past page 1. If I click page 2 or 3, it comes up with a blank page and says 'done'.

"die hard" ending scene
Published (2009-11-22 21:39:00)
This is odd, I have always loved this film, seen it many many times, but I and another friend remember the ending sequence different. I bought the die hard set and the end of the first film where Hans Gruber/Alan Rickman is falling down out the window, I think is different. For some reason we remember that he swings his arm up and shoots at Mcain and his wife as hes falling. On the dvd he just falls. Any one else remember that? or are we just...

Anyone watch Naruta?
Published (2009-11-22 23:00:00)
Does anyone here enjoy watching anime? My children started watching some of the Naruto series and also got me somewhat interested. I guess it's very similar to the superman/ batman type of shows I watched when I was young----as far as the outlandish scenarios go, and with a different, twist.

I've seen it at first I didn't believe the movie was going to be any good but once I was watching it I quickly realized that it was a good movie, well worth it. If you haven't seen it you are missing on a good one.

I haven't seen it. I'd like to. I loved the first one. Want to see 2 and 3 now. I get a big kick out of Sid the Slough. He's my favorite character. Gotta go rent #2. LOL.

I love Dr Seuss for children - whether the books or the stories as they are very imaginative and creating in terms of the storyline. We watched this on dvd and enjoyed it but older children may not be as responsive as my 4 year old.

I like Dr. Who, but for some reason I quit watching it after the second or third season--I don't know why. If I can find it on Hulu, I might start watching it again, but I would have to catch up on the older episodes.

I am glad I read your post before taking my son. He is five. We planned on
going next week when he is off from school. It sounds like it may be a bit
scary for him. I wonder if you can see in not in 3D. Maybe it would be less
scary that way.

I'm not sure if you can classify it as horror, but Saw 3 is probably my favorite. There were a lot of cringe-inducing moments but it was balanced but an interesting story line and a great twist at the end (as the Saw movies always do).

I actually really enjoyed the 4th one, and am looking forward to the 5th (but I think those merit their own thread personally).
I used to watch the classic 3 with my dad all the time when I was younger. I wonder if they'd hold my 4yo's attention? They're certainly actiony enough that they may have a chance.
They used to get so much play time on TBS and the likes but I can't remember ...

The radio show that my SO listens to was talking about it. Apparently one of them got tickets and said that they spent the entire movie with their hoodie tied up around their face because they couldn't watch.
Those types of movies don't do it for me, I don't like the camera styling of it but I'm sure I'll see it on demand when it hits.
