Jessica Alba To Star In Comic...
Published (2009-11-27 23:55:00)
Miss Inserts: I never really thought about that. But to some extent I would have to agree with you on that one. Jessica Alba really hasn't done any great movies (performance wise) lately, thats for sure. I mean, I liked her in Sin City. But that was more the movie I think than her. Anyways, regardless of her performance, I hope this Insiders movie is good at least, though. Don't need another Fantastic Four franchise, thats for sure.

Sometimes you wonder if these two are together or not but l have seen many appearences from these two and it does make you wonder if they are a couple. The media snaps pictures of the two of them hanging on to hands, hugging and also there are photos of the two of them staying in hotels.

In one scene, someone calls Pippa Lee an enigma. She replies by saying, To be perfectly honest, Ive had enough of being an enigma. I want to be known. Well Pippa, dont get ahead of yourself because its the enigmatic elements that make IThe Private Lives of Pippa LeeI curiously ingenious. Based on the title and the films poster, Id like to bet youve already formulated a slew of preconceived notions. Good for you, because thatll make the...

Ninja Assassin - discuss it
Published (2009-11-27 00:48:00)
Caught this today... meh. The script was very 80s, very silly, very cheesy. I really don't know what purpose any of the movie's cop characters serve in the movie. None from what I could tell. That said... I really, really like Rain. Could easily see him as the new Bruce Lee.

Modern Family Reaction - Great Expectations
I need to take myself a bit to task over tonights episode. Earlier in the week, I wrote about signs a television writer has run out of ideas, one of which was needless celebrity cameos. Tonights Great Expectations makes me look a bit of the fool as Edward Norton and Elizabeth Banks ...

The Twilight Saga New Moon - discuss it
INew MoonI avoids slipping into self-parody by being a little less serious as well. Its impossible to have a truly light touch with the material-- Stephenie Meyers writing prevents that entirely-- but Weitzs efforts result in a movie thats a little less insular and self-involved, though in the ...

A real treasure of a film. Jack Black slides into this roll very perfectly and the humor is really quite surprising in spots.
Animation is breathless as is to be expected for a Dreamworks project.
You cannot go wrong with watching this film. It has something for adults, kids, and even old kung fu masters.
A must see.

Alright, I'll go first:
Stargate Universe was a super huge let down. Personally, I was kind of excited to see a new spin off series, but I had my reservations about it because I heard the creators were trying to make it more darker and serious. So you can imagine I didn't have high expectations for it going in. Which by all normal reasoning, I should have been more forgiving of it right? ...

Alright. I suppose I will say something first.
Flash-Forward had a great beginning. It grabbed you from start with a really unique concept and visuals. But when I watched episode 2 and 3: I felt the show was suffering big time. In fact, I starting to worry that the show was slipping into mediocrity TV land. However, the latest episode jolted me back into thinking this show could be really...

Rainy, rainy.
Which has been the exception, been a beautiful patch of weather lately.
Trees are starting to turn, you can feel a subtle difference in the power of the sun, and mornings have that fall scent to them.
I wish the whole year was like this.
