Open .wav files on CLIQ
Published (2009-11-09 15:03:00)
Let me see if I can get a smaller file for you to try.? If you hadn't modified the file it may be the application that added the extra extension. While a computer will be forgiving of this situation phones are more particular. After I find a smaller wav file I'll attach it and then have you email it to yourself. Mark Support Forums Manager

Android 2.0 - We Deserve An Answer!

Well, as soon as Droid was announced, Motorola appeared to have abandoned the CLIQ. When asked "Will CLIQ get updates?" the response has been to tell us to check out the Droid. Or, paraphrased, the CLIQ was targetting a certain crowd, with an implied tone of one which does not concern themselves with updates. Of course, I would even be happy with some sort of confirmation the our issues we have been discussing here in...

You have it exactly right Shotsky and so much more diplomatic than me too I do believe all this is transitional and it will be forgotten in a few weeks.? People do forget the bad runs with other smart phones and so whatever the latest one that you may have bought is ...seems an unmitigated disaster.? Then it too will be forgotten. At a product launch they make a lot. A lot a lot.? They don't make a few and then see...

Hm, I thought it was the other way around ncwoodworker.? I haven't had to reset mine, so I'm not an authority on it, but I thought your apps re-downloaded, but your pictures, music, and anything else you'd created or copied to the device would get erased. I may VERY well be wrong on this though.

There is one true free visual voicemail with actual VOIP voice over internet calling, SMS if you want or don't mind text notifications. Also you can disable the SMS incoming when you receive a voice transcription. Perhaps you have heard of Google Voice? There is an official GVoice app on the Android Market. If you don't have a google voice master# go to www.voice.google.com and register for an...

I hate "me too" forum posts, but -- me too! It pairs, but can't get it to show up in Windows list of drives. I expected to have to do the trick with the status bar and "mounting" the SD as with the USB, but that doesn't seem to be there. I am guessing that it is way locked down due to panic on the part of Verizon on the tethering thing -- but the fact that you can only get to the SD seems to ...

You should be able to do that with Motorola Phone Tools . I'm not sure if the Droid will be supported at launch however. Usually, new phones will be added to MPT the first update after the phone launches.

Same problem with mine. A little better when I turn the volume lower, rather than higher. Still, surprisingly crappy compared to the Samsung Jack which I dumped for Droid or my iPhone.

Hi, I'm very sorry to hear about your bad experience... Can you please provide more information about your loss of contacts and your battery life? Generally you should be able to get at least 12 hours of moderate to heavy use out of your Droid, so if it is significantly worse than that, I'd like to try and help figure out why. Thanks!...

I get all my album artwork from Google Images and apply them via iTunes. The resolution of the artwork I choose is no less than 500x500 and most of them are larger. The artwork in the "albums list" view is fine but I think it is expanding that same thumbnail to use as the artwork for each song rather than the original size. I'm not sure what to do or why this is happening......

I too was worried about moving all my contacts to the Droid. Here's what worked for me. I sync'ed my Treo 700wx with Outlook on my desktop. Then I exported my contacts as a .CSV and imported them into my Gmail account (Contacts > Import). When my rep at the Verizon store configured my Droid for me, it automatically sync'ed all my contacts....

I just posted a question about an issue that sounds like yours. My phone will power on and prompt me to touch the android picture...seconds later it will turn off and repeat. I haven't been able to use it at all.

Is anyone else having trouble connecting to their router? My Droid says I am connected to my router and my 3G icon is replaced with a full signal WiFi icon but I can't surf or do anything. Facebook, yahoo msgr, etc, they all tell me that I am not connected.

I've seen reviews that say that there is no voice dailing over a bluetooth headset. Is this true? Will Motorola add this feature. This capability has been available on other phones for a long time, and would be a deal breaker for me. "Iphone killer" HAS to have this feature!

This may be more of a Verizon thing, Microsoft thing than a Droid thing, not sure yet, but... I live in AZ and we don't switch time on Daylight savings / fallback. When syncing my corp calendar with Droid, any meeting I scheduled (before the time switch, thus before getting the DROID) is an hour later than it should be, i.e. on my Outlook it shows correct time, on Droid it shows an hour ...

If you have Windows Mobile device center installed. Remove it. your removable disk drive will now be available. i have noticed that if you copy files to the SD Card on the droid that the files do not show on the device itself until the connection is severed.

I just went through this. There is a Google calendar app that you can download from Google that will sit on your computer and sync your outlook calendar at some time interval (least time is 10 minutes). It can to a two way snyc so if you do something on your phone it will add to your Outlook. http://dl.google.com/googlecalendarsync/GoogleCale ndarSync_Installer.exe Seems to be working fine ...

I am very sorry to hear that you are experiencing this problem. Is there anything specific that you are doing that results in this behavior, or does it just happen without you doing anything? Thanks!
