Hi Conan, I reckon you'd be better off googling a bike breaker - this isn't the type of forum where you're likely to find someone able to answer that, sorry. As far a sprices go, try BikeTrader and just search for something the same age... YG

accident with car when filtering

hi all, had an accident with a car few days ago on two lane road (two lanes in the same direction, I was riding between cars), cars were doing about 20 mph and I had about 30mhp, then one of cars tried to get from rh lane to lh lane, had his indicator on but I was too close to him to stop and hit his front passenger side wing. Is there anyone who knows for sure whos fault was it, as I've got no clue if claim it of insurance or...

If there was anyone still in doubt about the parlous state of the UK bike market, then can I suggest that they haven't been to this year's motorcycle show at the NEC. Seemingly mis-named as The Motorcycle and Scooter Show, the only scooters present came from a small Taiwanese manufacturer, and there was precious little in the way of motorcycles either. If this trend keeps up, then next year you may well be going to the 2010...

HI, IF Possible, can you give me a price for a Generator, new or used for Malaguti Madison 400cc, 2002, mileage is 3,800. and price wise, The bike is good condition, apart from the Generator. what price would i get with work done, or not. thanks for your help. Conan

OK, first things first. Glad you're OK. I'm assuming that the damage isn't too severe becaue you're thinking about not claiming. Hi Bill, Is the uneven wear around the circumference (so the tyre has flat spots viewed from the side) or across the tread (flat spotted looking from the front or above)? If it's around the circumference then I'd suggest fork chatter, possibly from having not enough rebound damping, allowing the tyre to bounce as the forks extend after a bump.
