ThanCrissy, I completely understand your position. The first few years I did forex trading, it seemed like sort of a tease to me. Great gain, big loss, decent gain, small loss, ahhhh... it was extremely frustrating how difficult it was to stay consistent. If you asked me back in those days if forex could've been a full-time job for me, I would've just done one of these: A few years later, I'm a little wiser and less impatient....

I thought a pic says more than 1000 words, but it seems it doesn't. 3h or 4h chart shows the trend of my horizon, if it's above the clouds it's long and if it's below the clouds it's short. 30m chart is my entry chart and i wait on a pullback from the clouds or a cross of tenkan-sen and kijun-sen in the direction of the 3h or 4h trend. I just read an interesting article about how Forex Rebates can cut your transaction costs for free. Sounds a little too good to be true, but at the same time seems to make sense.

I want to suggest that tried true method, a realistic approach to technical analysis, in resistance and support. All indicators are simply variable of averages, modified to one degree.

Agree to all. Another fact to keep in mind is that no matter what leverage your broker advertises, you don't have to use it. You can control your own leverage manually. All you have to do to calculate your own leverage is by dividing your trade amounts by you equity balance. It's really not the indicator. It's the person using it. You can have the best indicator (or combination) but it doesn't matter if you don't use good money management.
