Long term financial goals?

i respectfully disagree. I think Kiplinger's personal finance magazine is a must have. Of course its dangerous to be beleive everything you read, thats why you need to diversify. There is not one single blog or magazine that will give you everything you need. Knowledge IS power.

I sure hope so. One major flaw that i see with Mint and the mortgages is that I have no visibility to transaction activity with my mortgage accounts like I do with my other financial accounts. All i get with my mortgage account is the current balance. I need to be able to see my escrow activity like taxes, insurance and other payments. I use Yodlee.com and with Yodlee.com I can see the transactions within my Wells fargo mortgage accounts....

By the way DragonSpirit, if you are such a good "techie" as to be able to investigate controversial posts, why don't you just go through the OPEN SOURCE code of linux and fix it yourself.

Great! I'm looking forward to it. And despite my being critical, Mint is still a great service. I'd just like to feel less alone when something goes wrong .

I'm having problems with my Achieva Credit Union account (achievacu.com).
It hangs on authenticating, and after a while, I assume Mint times itself out, and doesn't log into my bank account to update my transactions or balances.
Basically the "Fix It!" button does nothing, and this problem has been going on for at least 3 weeks.
I'd like to be able to see my budgets and the like ...

Agreed. I'm about to call for the fifth time to get my pin unlocked. I suspect that it's because I have multiple accounts with USAA, so if Mint tries to access all three accounts at once to update, it can't accurately cycle through the security questions. Guess it's back to Quicken until they can fix this issue.

It's not just Sharebuilder. I have numerous accounts (from Schwab, Scottrade) that I have no clue wehere Mint gets the cost basis. Very few of them are correct. I just have to ignore them since when I ask Mint what the problem is they seem clueless. I don't think anyone at Mint actually ever uses it.

My Toyota Financial Services account (auto loan) has not updated in 6 days due to problems signing in. I have went to the website to confirm my login information and reconfirmed it with mint under "fix this problem" and no luck.
Any help please?

Ok... I honestly tried the Mint.com suggestion to split your ATM Withdrawal transaction into several cash transactions, but it doesn't work very well. I split several cash receipts into that one ATM withdrawal. I later went back to split it some more and it basically doesn't allow additional splits. It treats the remainder of the ATM transaction as a split and you have to manually do the math....

I just wanted to bump this up - I'd love to see Discover Student Loans on Mint. It would make my net worth so much more accurate (and depressing ).

Much of the strife surrounding the term "automation" involves the black hat SEO tactics used by companies who promise their clients a number one ranking in Google, or some other search engine, in just a few days. These companies use spam comments and robot article rewriters to push a huge amount of content and links onto the Internet in a short amount of time. Yes, these tactics hurt a website ...

this morning i found:
my rollovers have turned themselves on
my "transfers" are all lumped into the "everything else"
and
i have two transactions that have been renamed as if they were payments to two different credit cards even though they are unrelated to any credit card payments (but this has been going on for a while)
so this messes up my budget, makes it look like ...

Check the home page of citizens.. they just did major updates to their online interface either this or last weekend. I think that may have something to do with it.

I'm seeing the exact same thing! It's great to see a net worth over time graph finally but to have it not include my biggest debts is a little misleading!
I'm sure that there will be a lot of bugs with the updates made today (I've got a list going of issues I've found) so hopefully we'll see this one fixed shortly...

Hey there,
I've been posting daily about this issue for nine days.
All of the other TD Bank users and I have determined that the issue began 9 days ago when TD Bank updated the URL for their online banking. Following the change, the security questions are not working and cannot be updated, essentially locking Mint out of updating. Dozens of us have used the feedback form to inform ...
