I just talked about this in my sell the farm post. But you sign him now. The brewers can afford Fielder. In 2010 Fielder, Suppan, Hoffman, and Riske's salaries total $35,500,000. We are also paying 8.8 million towards Hall,
Weathers and Looper assuming we buy him out. A total of 44 million on our books in 2010 that will be off in 2011 and beyond. I would offer him 20-23 mil per year for 3-5...

It is time to sell the farm period. The brewers have an chance to have a 3 year window to win. There are really 3 major phases to my plan. One: sign two
young studs. Suggested trade options. Trade with the royals for Grienke: offer Salome, Jeffress, Bouman, and Lawrie. Trade with the giants for Cain: offer Hart, Parra, Braddock, and Gamel. Both trades I think they would go for. Two:...

Your giving up Lawrie and
Braddock for a two pitch pitcher who may not ever be the pitcher he was last year horrible.

Yeah, I hope they let
looper go. Now that they will mostly likely let cameron go. That should clear up some money. If they sign washburn and an injury prone guy I would be fine with that.

yeah, that's Marcus Hanel, the bullpen catcher. By all accounts, a really great guy.

I would love to see it happen if they are almost positive he is ready. We don't need Kendall back and I hope he won't be.
Its been awhile since we have seen a catcher that has a chance to produce offensively.
