I have no clue how "passport" works I haven't had TWC since 1996. On D*, if I'm looking for a show. I enter search for shows, I have a choices ranginf from movies, sports, music, concerts, dramas, comedy's, documentaries, etc. I usually don't use that. I enter search, type in a few letters of the show I'm looking for hit select and there it is. Full schedule of episodes ...

This would have been better BEFORE the transition to mpeg4 and forcing everyone off the tivo based DVRs! http://www.broadcastnewsroom.com/art....jsp?id=504 621 Quote: EL SEGUNDO and ALVISO, Calif., Sept. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DIRECTV, Inc. With football season starting and still no CBSHD for D* users, I finally bit the bullet and installed an OTA antenna over the weekend. My AM21 came earlier in the week, so that was all set to go; my task was to decide on what sort of antenna I wanted. I decided to start out by going budget and getting a small, cheap directional outdoor model from Radio Shack. That way, if it didn't work, I ...

I have a roof top antenna, with a rotor. It is hooked to a Dish VIP 622. I get the Milwaukee locals Crystal Clear. I live in West Allis. The Radio Shack antenna will capture signals up to 75 miles. Shouldn't I be able rotate and get Madison Channels?

I am considering a "move" to a Chicago address and was wondering if anyone here in the Milwaukee-Wisconsin area is getting their locals from the Chicago spotbeam. If so, what are you getting and how is the quality/stability?

I know that we are getting a ton of heavy rain here in Kenosha tonight, but there has to be some trick to getting the HD signal, right? This is horrible watching the football game in non-HD.

http://groups.google.com/group/rec.a...bb03efa4799 60# I miss the old Super 18 logo... Maybe we'll see it return.. I have a feeling the CW will be dead within 2 years unless they manage to save the sinking ship.

Today, I noticed Channel 516 was flipped on TWC. I can tune it, but it was dark this morning. It's the 36.1 PBS channel in Milwaukee. As far as I know .. 36.1 is NOT HD. One wonders why TWC put it in the 500-550 range, all of which are HD. Plus, 550-559 are all PBS's feeds. Why they wouldn't stick 36.1 in the middle there (there are openings) is beyond me.

I have this Radio Shack Analog TV receiver that I bought about 4 years ago. Its also analog tunning so you can't tell exactly what channel number you are on unless the TV station you pick up ID's itself as. After February 17th, this thing will be nothing but a paper weight. However, I am thinking of selling it on eBay directing the sale of this item to Canada and Mexico as they won't be ...

Is anyone else finding the Big Ten Network on TWC 527 and 897 totally unwatchable? The pixelization is insane, and its so bad on my end that I don't even get any audio. The BTN on channel 63 is fine. Getting more frustrated by the minute ..... BMO

Now that D* has expanded...when are Jim Hall from WDJT-TV and D* going to have a meeting of the minds and get CBS 58's HD signal on D* ?

FSN Wisconsin plans to broadcast every Brewers game in HD in 2009 as Fox transitions its 16 regional sports networks, including FSN Wisconsin, into round-the-clock HD telecasts in the first quarter of 2009. That will mean FSN will produce its entire slate of more than 3,000 Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, National Hockey League and college football and basketball ...
