You won't be able to do an in place upgrade from Windows Vista Ultimate (Italian) to Windows 7 English, cross language upgrades are not supported. You will have to do a clean install or purchase a corresponding language (Italian) version of Windows 7 Ultimate or contemplate doing a clean install.

You can share files between all of those systems. It is unclear to me from what you've written whether you want to share files with the Windows 7 machine while in OS X, but I've included that information in case you do. Since Vista is installed in Boot Camp, I've only included Win7-OS X file sharing and not Vista-OS X file sharing since you can't be using both at the same time. On Windows Excellent, thorough, yet easy to...

Hi bmwman, Thanks for posting. How many hard drives do you currently have installed in the machine. If there are more than one, can you power down your machine, and unplug the power and the sata cables from the hard drives that you do not wish to install Windows to, leaving only one hard drive active for the installation. After you have installed Windows then power down your machine again and plug the hard disks back in. Hope this helps!

Do a clean install with a Windows 7 32 bit DVD.  Backup anything you need FIRST, because a format of the hard drive is necessary. However, I'm not sure why you would want to return to a 32 bit system.  Can you explain your reasons?
