1. What brand of pump did you pick and why? I had an $50 evenflo pump. it worked for what I needed it for while I was BFing (not very long at all) but it did work very well. If you are considering something long term (like your going back to work or going to exclusivly pump) you'd want something much higher grade, like a Medela Pump. 2. Is your an electric or manual? Dual Electric 3. Do you NEED a breast pump if you don't plan on...

no, you can't hold a newborn too much.? they need to bond to a human and get comfort from the smells, warth, and rhythmic breathing that a human holding them provides.? at the same time, you should not go to this extreme either: they were held all the time until they started walking infants won't develop the ability to sit up or strengthen their neck muscles if they aren't given some tummy time.? most infants want some down...

Josie was running around naked. I told Josie to come put a diaper on. ? Hailey to Josie: Go put a diaper on! I don't want to see your udders. Me: Her what? Hailey: her udders! (pulls down her panties and starts pulling on her privates) These! Her udders, like what cows have.

pg 2 I have the support of my therapist and my doc, with an understanding that if things get tough and meds are needed in the future, then I/we will do what’s needed. For now, I’m realizing how much my memory issues and cognitive dulling were from the meds and I feel like that carefree, spontaneous Mary has been let back out…and I like it. Is this forever? Who knows, but it’s a ...

by cakesy is a lover not a fighter. shes also a fighter so dont get any 1deas.
darnit! I forgot to mention this at the 12 month WBV today, and I meant to. Lola has had two pink/red spots since birth. One is a spot on her eyelid, and one is a line on her forehead. They are just pink most of the time, but the color deepens when she's upset. This is hardly a big deal in the scheme of things, obviously, but still, it would be nice for her if she didn't have a red line ...

I had a June baby when I lived in CO, and a Nov baby when I lived in NC. June rocked! Being pregnant from Feb-Nov in the heat and humidity of NC sucked! Yes, it was still in the 80's on occ in Nov.

AH! I just trimmed Lola's bangs and they're a little awful! I say do it when he's sleeping. Just go little by little and make sure he's distracted, or try the sleeping thing. WHat's nice is that they are cute anyway, AND their hair's always messed up so you can't tell if things are totally even. Sorry, I'm not much help. I only do bang trims. poorly.

We started DD on rice cereal this past weekend. We gave her a couple of teaspoons in the a.m. when she woke up, followed by her bottle. Then her regular bottles all through the day. At bedtime, we gave her a few more teaspoons of food, followed by her bath, then a big bottle before bed. She loves the food!
