Interesting is American is doing well Globally.......Why do some people who claim to be American prefer to dwell on the Foreign Competition?.........I really wonder if they are American?......or just the competition...... ? First it's yea for small Foreign Cars and then when told some facts about American it's Yea for Hyundai........Smells like the Foreign Competition to me......

$10B loans???? Are you talking about the DOE loans???? If so you may want to check your figures...It wasn't $10 Billion...It was $5.9 loan interest and it will be repaid back, probably more quickly then you would expect...because it may have come with strings attached.? Nissan and Tesla also received those loans.? The $10 Billion was the total given to Ford, Nissan and Tesla...There is still $15 Billion available...Which will probably be...

The crossover SUV is emerging as America’s favorite family vehicle as automakers continue to redefine the station wagon. Most crossovers are equal parts car and SUV. The new BMW 5 GT, however, is far more like a car than an SUV, yet it has crossover traits, such as a useful hatchback and a raised seating position. Does it seem more like a car or a crossover? Totally, it isn't propaganda when the sales figures tell the story.? Then, "myth" has become fact.? The Venza can't be junk, because it is a Camry with a taller roofline, and the Camry continues to be the best seller in America.? I do not own a Camry. ? As someone else already posted, "buyers prefer the worst of Toyota to the best of GM."? LOL! ? Wish I could think of witty lines like that.? Tells the whole story...

Another interesting note is how well Hyundai is doing. [Troy S.] I commented previously that Hyundai and Kia's sales boomed under the Cash-4-Clunkers program and wondered if that would translate to them sucking up forward sales, but I haven't had a chance to reveiw their numbers specifically since August's came out. When I get a chance I'll post some.

New Car For Expanding Family
Published (2009-11-06 20:03:00)
I'm leaning toward the Sequoia, just because it drives so well and has such good acceleration.? A negative, though, would be the fact that it's hard for my wife to reach the HVAC controls from the driver's seat, but there are auxillary switches on the steering wheel.? Other than that, the Sequoia seems great. The Nissan Armada is antequated, and the GMC Yukon is just like the Suburban with the small seat.? The Sienna and...

Of course. I have owned Volvos for YEARS and they are a great safety car, a great car for reliability and will be a sound vehicle for the future. My 240, 740, 940 and V70 are all awesome! All are still on the road some with new owners but still going strong!!!! I still own a 740,940 and V70 and would not part with them until I absolutely had to. My 240 diesel a buddy of mine bought and still has...

What's the problem? At 6'4" I want a vehicle that I don't have to turn into a " Pretzel" to get into and need assistance getting out of. Personally I like to "slide" my caboose in straight across from its location on my body and be able to swing my feet out and have them close to the deck when I get out. Therefore the "BIG" SUV's and TRUCKS do just that. If I want comfort for getting in and ...

If you're not building homerun vehicles all of the time, then you won't win the game. [Troy S.] I would hardly describe most of Toyota's fleet as 'homerun' material (RBI's maybe?), but it's a fair point to say that an automaker needs to be selling all types of vehicles, not just A homerun vehicle on which they rely. Interesting note on auto sales globally from Slate.com: GM's ...

TA, Thanks for poinitng out how Toyota may be on the road to making GM like mistakes. That would be a bad thing indeed! I don't care for the Venza. It doesn't seem to have a pace in the market really. Quite honestly, it's ugly. Maybe it's doomed to follow in the footsteps of the Aztek,SSR, Pacer and soon, the Compass. (The Uplander should go too.)

2003 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson S/C Unlike the other Ford F-150 Harley Davidson pickups, this one marks the 100th anniversary for both, Ford and Harley Davidson. That is shown with huge emblems on three sides of the vehicle. They are each numbered due to the fact that it is a limited edition vehicle. It has everything a good vehicle needs, looks, power, and comfort.

Chevy Suburban is a great choice. I have a 2005 Tahoe which is similar, and it has not given me a single problem in the time I've had it, and it has over 80,000 miles on it. For a little more of the features you're talking about, you also should look into a GMC Yukon XL Denali, which has even more luxurious features but is essentially still a Suburban. I know many people who have vehicles like ...

I find it interesting how the link posted above is from a GM website. That wouldn't make it in any way biased would it? Sure would. Here's an article that would probably be of more interest to the American Taxpayer. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?story Id=114287968
