Filed under: Aftermarket , SEMA Show , Sedan , Dodge , Specialty Worst of Show - Click above image for hi-res gallery Stinks. You might think that we're talking about the overall design of this shockingly orange scissor-door/scissor-trunk Dodge Charger R/T. Or the build quality, what with panel gaps that you can insert your index finger into, wheels so large the tie-rods can't hold them and the world's saddest piece of vinyl...

It's okay to use a 5w40 in our cars (which are speced for 10w30)? I could give it a try. My 2.5 loves the Castrol Edge I got on sale, but that sale doesn't go on forever

QUOTE(juanma85 @ Nov 8 2009, 07:05 PM) Quick question, I want to post my car for sale on the "For Sale" section of the forums, however, I do not have the required 30 posts, and I don't want to write on threads just for the sake of writing and getting in the way of actual dicussions. Do you guys think I wouldn't step on too many toes if I post it? or if I would, is there any admin that I could talk...

Light bulb problem
Published (2009-11-08 20:35:00)
I'm afraid the missing bulbs also include a revised (simplified) main wiring harness, so you'd be putting a light bulb in a dead socket if you bothered. Even on my early production '95 model, all my power window switches, LOCK/UNLOCK switch, and AMB button are dark. But, when I open a door, the 1995 model lights up all three interior lights (middle one in front and two in the rear). On my 1999 model, only the front one...

K&N Air Filter Users
Published (2009-11-03 22:21:00)
No need to get snotty about it. For starts, Fram doesn't have 'anti-drainback' which might not mean much on the 2.5L but makes all the difference on mid 90's Nissan 4cyls which I happen to own one. It's one thing to be a decent filter but K&N didn't even make it past decent in those tests. Flow at the cost of excessive dirt in the engine just doesn't sound good and most people buying these...

QUOTE(cjimport @ Nov 5 2009, 11:52 PM) ok guys i got some proofs for the caliper stickers. i looked and roughly measured the front calipers on my 95. there is a 1/2 inch band that is about 4 1/2 inches long and curves with the wheel. so here is the basic layout. i had to redraw the whole thing from scratch. its pretty damn exact!! im pretty sure the newer "s" are bigger than the older...

A few comments. 1. I like that muffler sound! (Bet it's better in person) 2. Is it just me or do your low beams stay on with your highs? Or is that your fog light mod I'm seeing. 3. Those are BRIGHT headlights! 4. Do you have a light out in your cluster? 5. Wear your seatbelt!

No one on here apparently experimented with rims too much. I would say its fine. I looked on car domain the other day and this kid had 20x8.5 wheels. I dont know how he got them too fit. I thought they would be too wide but apparently they worked fine. 43 offset should have you even with the fenders man. my 19s were 43 offset I think. They were perfect. Unless you got a deep dish rim then ...

First of all if your oil light is flickering you should always pull over and check your oil level and get some oil before you drive anymore in hopes you didnt already damage the engine. So have you tried putting oil in it and starting it? If it doest start you may have damaged your engine.
