Windstream dsl here and couldn't be happier. I had too many problems with cable internet, their excuses and then waiting for them to come out to do their repairs. 3 years now and no regrets. Also have AT&T dsl in Maysville office and no real problems there, just don't like the contracts they stick you with. We need more competition in this area for sure.

Thanks for the input bigwun. I didn't know where you fit in and figured you would be the best to ask (others have a tendency to over-react about these type questions!) as to why Happy Holidays isn't good enough to commemorate the birth of Jesus. I also like the way BengalsMama put it...put the Christmas part first to show what holiday you celebrate but also include Holidays to include everyone else you meet or talk to.

If you don't want to celebrate Christ's birthday and say Merry Christmas, so be it. I and millions of others prefer to do so. We are NOT a secular society and the majority of people in this Country are Christians. In case you don't know, people are fed up and are fighting back. We will no longer sit back and let atheists and agnostics rule the land when they are such a minority. Anyone who wants to celebrate pagan holidays is...

This is an example, of why TV's blowing their foot off. If we can get it via TVoIP (like Farmgirl did) then why do we need to pay for cable TV? It's coming folks. And yes, the folks wasn't happy they couldn't see it as well. If anyone else finds out where the game will be on the net, please post! - Kc

For decades, the Christians have said, that since they are the majority, they can lay claim to honoring the birth of Christ at Christmas. And they are the majority. They even go as far as saying, if you don't like it you can leave. But what if another group became the majority? Would the Christians be willing leave? Right now, one of the fastest growing groups are agnostics. Their “religion” is second only to the...

So people are asking for bigger government to enforce a sighn in a store window???
And yes I agree for the most part on the 24th and 25th it is Christmas. But I believe that Happy Holidays is just a greating to cover a time frame in wich many holidays occure in such a small spand of time. I just dont think Happy Holidays is being
anti Christian.
So what about the recent uproar ...

I agree kdown. I don't watch msnbc because of the insane rhetoric and total radical left wing bias. I watch Fox. If someone comes on I don't care for, I start watching reruns of the Cisco Kid or some other high intellect show.

For anyone interested-read Marc Sheppard's column in the American Thinker dated 11/25 and titled- CRU's Source Code: Climategate Uncovered .
Of course, the lamestream media is ignoring the leaked e-mails and will make excuse after excuse. Man made global warming is just another socialist attempt to destroy our economy and our way of life. Of course, there are so many in this country who don't ...
