I'm sure our teams will meet again on the field both teams are exceptional and both deserved to play for the State Championship.  Thanks again & please believe #4 has been a topic of discussion in our house as well, he is a fast, and strong standout player.  Thanks again and see u all on the field next season.  Happy Holidays.

Published (2009-12-21 20:36:00)
COACHG, You are exactly right. I am not rich  but I have even gone to Morgan or MT BANK and paid to get in when my son wasnt even playing because he wanted to see the other Ravens play there. He (KEITH)  has played for you in indoor before and knows a lot of your team so he wanted to support them. Ten dollars is nothing , especially when your kid is playing. Our centennial game was originally to be played at TOWSON at Jhonny...

Look, I could dance with you all day about this but I refuse to continue to wear the soles off my expensive shoes. You are taking this too seriously! If MV had a mascot jarring at our fans, we would've responded by jarring back. Getting angry enough to where you want to get physical behind what a costumed character is saying or doing is beyond irresponsible and ludicrous. I went to City which has a long-standing rivalry with Poly. The...

ravensdad , I had a great time at the Col vs. GFA game at your place.  I was behind enemy lines but it was all in good.  I think that is what youth football should be about.  Cheering, motivation, light trash talk but nothing really serious.  But sometimes, things get out of hand.  Honestly, I could see a couple of your fans a little frustrated with me on ya'll (Col) stands and I took...

wow LadyT, guess I need to double and triple check my grammar and spelling huh, thats classy, but I'll leave that to you since you are the English teacher and not me. again, I am objective, wasn't offended at all and could care less.  you really missed the points I am trying to make, oops, I mean You...  Of course no one "should" charge the field, but we all know things happen that shouldn't. Anywho,...

I guess that is one way to proclaim yourself as the best without actually winning any of the championship games. Still reaching for that silver lining? Let it go. Do what you did last season but win in the big games. Then, you can proclaim dominance. The Patriots had a better record than the Giants eventhough they lost in the SB. They were still not the champs. CBL-2 Champs Technically...

Yeah. I thought the same thing when the rankings first started this year and WO wasn't on it. Then they put WO on it and they were like #7 and the scrimmages they had against the teams ranked ahead of them were not even close. Then they were removed altogether and I just stopped worrying about it. That team is like 48-0 over the last 3 years. It's laughable that they aren't ranked in the state.

Thanks Donutz - That's greatly appreciated. Excuses will never get you anywhere. My HS coach (the GREAt James Tillerson) used to say "if I'm drowning, don't help me, pour more water... help the damn water out." I've tried to live by that and it has gotten me pretty far. Not saying that I'm perfect or don't need help, it just has me in a state of mind not to let anything keep me from reaching my...

Parkside was in Florida at thier national tournament. They played Friday at 4:00. They knew prior to getting into this tournament that they may not be back if they played for their National Championship that they would not be back in time to play the Championship game at Raven Stadium. I dont know why they got in the state tournament knowing this. Thats why they played on Friday the 4th so ...

I am a proud peppermill parent and all of that was a lie. Let's just say that if it was the other way around what would have been done.
