DYK EXACTLY! Case in point...we ate at my Mom's Sunday for lunch. Landon told her he wanted 2 hot dogs. I knew he wasn't going to eat them but my Mom gave them to him anyways. Well, he ate 1 hot dog and all of his mac n cheese. He wanted more mac n cheese. I told him no that he needed to eat the other hot dog he asked for first. Well, lo and behold, my Mom gave him more mac n cheese and said not to worry about the hot dog! I was...

I don't know much about it, but I believe eHarmony does background checks and really does a good job of finding someone decent. I think it'd be worth it. I would think there'd be more good, sincere guys on the paid sites, vs the free ones. Good luck! You deserve to have someone! I can't imagine being single. ((((hugs))))

DYK you are a horrible mother for not asking him what he wants, and then re-making your entire dinner because he decides he doesn't want Mac N Cheese anymore and wants PB & J.? Then re-re-making it when he wants chicken nuggets and then finally deciding that he can just have a giant sundae instead!! HORRIBLE!! LOL DYK do parents forget what its like to have small children in the twenty or so years since we were kids?? Really!?!?! I...

Lincoln knocked a tooth loose
Published (2009-12-22 12:12:00)
A friend of mine's daughter knocked her two front tooth loose (slipped and fell fomr a swing...) - they had visibly moved backwards. The dentist couldn't do anything and said to let it heal by itself. Both turned grey later but that usually is more an aesthetic problem than anything else I was told.

Rehab--Don't Worry

Oh Andrea, that is fantastic that you took that step to getting the help that you need.? You should be so very proud of yourself!!? Not everyone can recognize that they need outside help...and even if they do, to actually take that step on your own is awesome!!? I wish you nothing but the best in your recovery and will pray for you.? Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!

Wow, I never figured you for *that* type of mom who starves her kid because you don't have a menu option. That poor child. :P I usually try to make things he likes. Otherwise if he doesn't want what I make he'll make up for it with a snack later. He still eats several snacks a day, usually yogurt or an apple or something. So he still gets nutrition, but I try to make it known that this is what...

I'm putting WT's old clothes in plastic bins. My mom had put all of DD#1's clothes in big plastic garbage bags (she was going to get rid of them/give them away but just couldn't do it) and they actually were all fine and WT is wearing most of them!

Aw, that sounds painful (the tailbone and the duct). I wonder if a heating pad would help the tushie area (and maybe the boobie area too!) I hope you are feeling better soon!

**HUGS*** I feel badly for you. My DH said the same thing, that I wouldnt have to work anymore. I am glad I dont have to and would be devastated to go back.
I know it must be hard to be the one who is picking up the slack.

Sorry about your grandma! DYK my grandma is much the same as yours - she is my only living grandparent also, she's going to be 94 and she thinks that I'm my mom a lot of the times when I call her. She's in a nursing home up in MN and I feel bad that I don't see her or call her as often as I should, but I think that it just confuses her more than anything half the time.

I voted 'baby fruits, veggies, and meats' but Jude also gets some table food such as cheese, bread, and small pieces of meat or beans.

Thanks! :) That's what I thought too - that it's much easier, less stressful (for me haha), and usually more fun with less kids. The funny thing is that yesterday I got calls from 4 more that are planning to come today.........but we've had a bunch of snow last night and today, with no sign of letting up, and I'm worried we may now have to cancel. Agggghhhh! :-) Oh well.

Thats great news, Andy ..... uh do you mind if I call you Andy? lol ..... I'm glad you are getting help for yourself. You have to come first, or you can't take care of anyone else! I'm glad you're optimistic, and you did this on your own, and it's not something you feel as if you were forced into ..... I wish you the best of luck!!!
