I just changed Lanna's diaper and realized that her belly button stump has already fallen off!! It's too early isn't it? She's only 12 days old :-( There's a little raw/red spot in the middle. Should I cover it with a bandaid/gauze? Use neosporin? Keep cleaning it with alcohol? I'm afraid that will sting her. (thanks to laura_sh for the beautiful siggy)...

I really want to get Adia some baby legs and just wondering if they are good and worth it.  I understand they add extra warmth etc for dresses and stuff but just wonder what makes them better than stockings besides the fact that they are super duper CUTE! Just a heads up that since Gustav is only 13mph shy of a cat 5 and is headed straight for us or to the West of us (BAD b/c we dont' want to be in the NE quadrant) to hit as a cat 3 or 4 we're going to West Texas.
