It's not done. Double shear pitman arms have been made like this and run without issue, many times. I'd like to think this thing is already a TON stronger than the weak ass little 10mm or whatever tapered stud on a stock TRE. Here is Actionfabs work, turning 40's with this arm.

Just made it through all 33 pages. Awesome build! The 6.0 is a good choice. I have one in my muscle car and it makes sick power. If you had the part where you chopped the back into a bed to do over would you do anything differently? I always liked the trucked grands and would like to do my WJ at some point but not if the unibody will fall apart following the mod. Then again I wont be wheeling the same stuff you are though. Cant wait to see it...

I ribbed a giant cross so it wouldnt hit my t-case. I could add some more diagonal ribbing but not where the t-case is.

I know it's completely stupid but I LOVE watching all of the DavidsFarm videos on youtube. It's much like RonLand but with less chance of tetanus.

I'm not sure why you were driving it with a known bad waterpump, let alone after it started overheating. If you had major knocking coming from the engine, a new waterpump might be pretty low on your list of problems. Oh, and they're "wrist pins."
Provided your 4.0 is not a paperweight, get your buddy to give you a ride to the parts store, buy a haynes manual, waterpump, thermostat, some RTV,...

The weather was awesome. 60 to 70 degrees all day. A little wind and a few swings in temps but all was well. The Florence Junction area was BUSY. We started the morning with a total of six rigs and got moving quickly for fear of getting behind a trail plug.
The plan was to run Upper Woodpecker and High Way To Hell. Bryant and his clan decided to turn around at the end of Upper Woodpecker ...

RCV's site says that they're releasing cv shafts for regular D44s soon, and it comes out to about $1300 with flanges. I would do that before adding 60 knuckles to a 44.

Unless you're planning on 38s+ ground clearance would suck with a 60 and a 609 build adds up fast.

Eventually your rig will get to a point where you wish you left it on 33's, for the fun wheeling you used to do. Cheaper and challenging. Everyone gets there, or they start competing.

I wouldn't use the stock crossmember, it's pretty weak and thin.
This is what I will be doing on my claytons crossmsmber, but I am going to try to fith a link on both sides, creating a true fourlink.

I dont know the difference between the two kinds of communication but my computer tech guy says never to get an external hard drive that is bigger than 500GB. The reason is that they are simply not reliable, inside that case is most likely 2 500GB hard drives mated to a single control unit and if any one of the three components fail you could lose all your data. I experienced this first hand when...

Is your t case fluid level low? Keep in mind if it is a 249 it uses special fluid. Also I used to have to run my tranny fluid a bit overfull (like 1/2 qt or so) to keep from starving my pump. Was the trans whining when it was popping out of gear?
