Welcome to Major Geeks! Apparently you are using an illegal copy of Windows and we cannot help you. I see the below running on your PC: "muBlinder"="E:\\muBlinder\\muBlinder.exe -startup" Which is described as shown in the below link: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/muBlinder.exe-16771.html All I will say is that there is a chance that you have an infected Master Boot Record on drive J.

quite a few AV/suites will NOT run effectively with anything else installed. however, if you're still deciding which suite to purchase, you are best served if you test each of them for about a week, uninstall, then install the next. if you fall in love with the first one, then that's the one for you. personally, i chose KIS 2010 (Kaspersky) based on trials of the top 3 suites listed at toptenreviews.com; there are many other review...

The boot loader only displays if more than one operating system is present. If there is only one it will not display, no matter what value you give the time out. The key to access safe mode in Windows during boot is F8. Press this repeatedly quite fast just after the BIOS and you should get into the boot options menu. This will have options for safe mode with and without networking and other options.

Hi Not played the game but if the game is glitchy, then make sure your graphic drivers are upto date version. Make sure you have any game patches that have been released installed. Try the game with your security applications disabled.

I only watched a couple of 60 second tutorials on Smartware but it looks like that is the root cause of your problem. A couple of threads you might want to read. One for unmounting the VCD . Second for disabling VCD software (I believe a newer fix but involves a firmware flash for the drive). Let us know what you think.

Hello, RenegadeT, My advice, would be to go with AVG-9. Now, that is what I am using, and I noticed you Quote: AVG AV Free 8.5. I tried to update AVG to 9.0, but it wouldn't install You may have to un-install 8.5 and then install 9.0 to get it to install. I had Trend Micro, and had to totally remove it in order for AVG 9 to download and install.. Two AV will fight, for sure Not a pretty site Best of luck whatever you decide to do

So you meant links not icons. That is an entirely different matter. Do you see the words but can't click to get a hotlink or are the words missing? I run noscript so we can rule that out as creating the problem. Open your FF Options (found under the Tools menu, in windows under the Edit menu in linux) and click on the Content tab. At the top, all 4 items are checked. Under fonts and color, click the Advanced button and post what you have...

Like you said, you're down to the bare bones - could there be anything power supply-wise causing this? A mislabeled or miscolored cable? I know that with many electrical circuits, if the positive and negative are switched, noise generation can occur... Don't happen to have a spare power supply laying around, do you? Come to think of it, though - if it's pwr supply, you'd have had this problem out of the box... Still, a...

It sounds like the video chip has failed. This would explain the odd lines in odd colors, and it explains the BSOD error about the video driver being unable to start. The only way to fix a bad video chip in a laptop is to either replace the entire main board (usually at least $350) or find a qualified repair place that can perform board-level chip replacement and diagnostics. This would probably ...

That is strange. If I were you, I would call around, and see if you can get a better deal with another company and transfer your balance. I prefer using a debit card, hard for me to buy stuff I can't afford. I am not good with credit cards myself.

Ask for an open MRI. I'm pretty sure they have the machines. Other than that, make sure they give you headphones with music (or take your own), close your eyes, and breath long and deep. Have you even done yoga (Pranayama breathing)? It helped me a ton.

Hi Sheena, I would say yes, as long as you keep that battery charged... I have used mine during a power outage, and keep it charged.. That is the main thing with cell phones, if the battery is down, they are useless.. Keep it charged, and you are good in case of an emergency
