Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody (even the non pilgrim decendents :D). I'm thankful for my family, friends (that includes you PITAs), my G (cuz it could be TONS worse), and for having a decent hand in the kitchen to make up for all of the FAIL I'll be surrounded by at the extended-in-laws meal later (thank God for my own premade leftovers). Anybody for an OC Beach Thanksgiving next year? I was thinking turkey Tacos. We could take over...

Just to add, I just put on the 17's on my 200sx in my sig above, noticed an immediate sluggish throttle response, the new wheels are heavier, taller, and frankly all show... but it's a beater so who cares Get the JWT pop charger, and a Z tube, which is the intake tubing off a Nissan 350Z. It's highly recommended on this site.

It may be a rental but it's still under the full manufacturers warranty. Same with the wife's '07 G35s sedan I picked up. It even had a SES and I was not worried about it. A trip to Infiniti and everything was as good as new. Now, I'm waiting for snow around here to see how well the sedan works with traction control and the Hankook tires. I still have the factory tires on the coupe so it sure won't be seeing any snow.

It can make a difference, but I think that most short ram intake systems don't have sufficient heat shielding. The long tube cold air intakes typically lose the throttle response. My answer to this was to use the Stillen airbox and the JWT pop-charger. I heat-tape wrapped the entire z-tube, MAF housing and the side and bottom of the airbox. My intake temps are 10-13* above ambient (very ...

I think your car has unfoundturbo syndrome. Or actually, I kind of hear like a high frequency sound coming from inside my car sometimes, it sounds like something electronic but it's now since gone away on it's own

It will take a lot of work. If you feel comfortable doing this yourself, then very little explanation is needed. The orange turn signal can be turned into clear. 1. You need to bake open and seperate the headlights 2. Remove turn signal piece 3. dremel out all the orange (carefully) 4. use a white flourescent style cover piece and cut to size. (can find small squares at Home Depot) 5. glue ...

Quote, originally posted by Sentientbydesign » Ok. I know at least a few of the 05+ 6MT Gs have had oil consumption. With some, it might be extreme. With others, it might be just a minor annoyance. Here's what I'd like you to do. Check-in - I have a 2005 G35 Coupe. It consumed enough oil to be eligible for the TSB and revised engine. How much oil does your G35 consume - This ...

As a comparison, the 2007 18" front rims are appx 23.7 lbs while the rears are 22.4 lbs. There are better OEM wheels for the G which are lighter than the 35lb FX wheels. Of course, with the G35x, you would have to use 4 fronts or 4 rears if you are to go that route but the end result will be almost 50lbs less unsprung weight.

Ballancing wheels, suspension, wheel bearing , uneven tire wear or even motor /tranny mounth can do it just to name a few. Is it feels like at the wheel? Try to lift it up and spin the tire move the wheel side to side to see if it got any play. Inspect the tires check if you have lost a ballancing weight maybe. If it did not do it before my money is on the ballancing of the tires so I would ...
