If you want to save that receipt electronically, just go to File>Print... In the print window, click the PDF button in the lower left and scroll down to Save PDF to Web ...

Colloquialisms from the 16th Century In Shakespeare's time, mattresses were secured on bed frames by ropes. When you pulled on the ropes the mattress tightened, making the bed firmer to sleep on. Hence the phrase "goodnight, sleep tight." It was the accepted practice in Babylon 4,000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all the mead ...

It's rather confusing, this MobileMe transition. When it was first mooted it seemed too good to be true and, later, for some it undoubtedly was. Rolling out all these great ideas on one day was bound, with the glorious benefit of hindsight, to harbour the possibility of something going horribly wrong. It did! For example, I had carefully created a .Mac Group over the last three months ...

The Brett Favre era in Green Bay officially came to an end late Wednesday night as the legendary longtime Packers quarterback was traded to the New York Jets. I blame Packer management that it had to come to this point. Things were done and said that Favre just couldn't get past and forget.

So I am new to Mac and I just bought a lexmark all-in-one printer. I cannot seem to find the software to use it. The CD that came with the printer would not work. I did find the driver on the lexmark website. I can do everything but scan images to my computer. My uncle told me to search for OCR software but I was unable to find any free software for Mac. Can you folks help me?

I am running the latest version of Leopard server in a Mac Pro at my house. I have the latest Leopard versions on my laptop and iMac at work. I connect at home through my local intranet and at work through IPSecuritas via a Zyxel firewall. At home, my home folder sync's without difficulty and my preferences load properly. At work, however, the home folder sync's (all new files are there...
