I haven't seen Christmas Carol, but as soon as I saw the Christmas Carol trailer, I was reminded of Beowulf. Then I discovered it's the same director and same CG company. It's almost as if they just recycled the CG models. The trailer has some of the hollow creepiness of The Polar Express too... which also happens to be the same CG company as well. Whatever they're doing (performance capture?), I'm definitely not...

You are using "RCA" and "coaxial cable" as separate entities, so I assume you're talking about RG59 as the "coaxial cable." Composite video+audio is not at all compatible with the RF signals carried by an RG59 distribution system. You'll need an RF modulator as mduell suggested; it's pretty much the same thing you'd get to plug any arbitrary video component into a very...

scp takes care of all the ssh business. You just need to give it the parameters like path to source file, path to destination, IPs, and account. From the Mac: scp /path/on/Mac youriPhoneAccount@iPhoneIP:/path/on/Mac From the iPhone scp path/on/iPhone yourMacAccount@MacIP:/path/on/Mac MacIP can of course be something like nameOfMyMac.local since the iMac and iPhone will be on the same subnet.

Does anyone else feel that the Bandolier perk should be part of this game? I seem to run out of ammo fairly frequently and if I don't have scavenger then I really have to make sure that I pick up weapons. Maybe I'm not as accurate as others, although it seems I'm within the norm from my friends list, but the SCAR in particular really does eat through the bullets. Finally, I f**king HATE Quarry.

Too popular. Left website to someone else, joined 2600 and FMA. Surfer's Serials was dropped by Surfer, picked up by someone else. Serial2K started, but goes underground. Original website is dropped. I have a 2006 MBP; it runs x64 Win7 RC very well. There are indeed a couple things missing, maybe iSight and something else minor. But overall it works great as a way to run Windows 7 and Windows apps.

A guy I know saw an advance of the first episode and said it showed promise. But he also liked Transformers 2, so his opinion might be worthless. I plan on watching it. I loved V as a kid. It's not like it takes much of a commitment. If it sucks, I'll stop watching it. I think it's only going to be 4 hour long episodes.

You need to tell the XP installer to format the partition before installing. This is because, while Boot Camp "marks" the partition it makes as being formatted with either FAT32 or NTFS, it doesn't actually format it. I would not format a partition that large with anything but NTFS. FAT32 is not that flexible, and while it can theoretically handle an 8 TB partition (max), the "slack" or ...

It's the "Android seems like the best hope for a legitimate iPhone competitor, and Droid is the first Android phone which hasn't sucked so flagrantly that we could see it a mile away from the store" thing. And being worse than the iPhone doesn't necessarily mean it should get a bad review. Or is only the #1 best product in a given field worthy of any good remarks?

I read that the first seven or so eps are going to be very stand-alone but after that they'll get into some arcs and beyond personality-of-the-week. I thought it was ok. The premiere moved along without a lot of self-aggrandizing pomp (read: Heroes since season 2).

What do you mean by "arbitrarily refuses to load any Google or Yahoo sites"? Does this mean the sites don't load a in a browser or does it mean you can't ping them? Assuming pinging works, have you tried different browsers? What do nslookup and traceroute say? Are you using OpenDNS?
