If you're a safety freak, please remember that the helmet manufacturer's really don't want you applying this type of finish on their helmets. They design the shells to dissipate energy based on the structural integrity and strength of the materials they choose and applying a new overlay completely unbalances that. That being said... I am not a safety freak and think they would look awesome!

Be careful with 16" wheels, because some wiil not fit even though they are the 'right size'. If you get a set of 16" stock wheels or go through a company like Tire Rack that is familiar with the car you will be OK.

Nobody has mentioned noise issues yet?
First - the first time I drove an intercooled hotside supercharged 1.6 Miata with a 9 lb flywheel, I stalled it once or twice. Also, that setup has issues with idle dip causing stalling on deceleration anyway, and a light flywheel doesn't help.
Many people reported louder gearbox noise with <10 lb flywheels. Lots of rollover noise with...

that looks really good, is it peel/stick type stuff? It looks like it's pretty flexible and conforms to curves pretty well.

I remember my grandfather driving a Gran Torino with a 351 back around 1970 or so. He went from that to a Ford Granada (now there is a forgetable car). I'm pretty sure there was a base Torino, and the 'Gran' was more up-model.

Take the cylinder head to a local machine shop and have it rebuilt. Check the Spec Miata boards for a good recommendation. Stay away from Clearwater Cylinder heads. Also take a straightedge and make sure your block is not warped as well.

Hm... that reminds me, I've never even tried the horn on our year-old Fusion. Maybe I should see if it works!
A "good driver," according to LEOs I've talked to, is mainly " courteous." It also goes without saying that he/she should always be in control of the vehicle.

I'm going to guess that your console lock is messed up because a valet key shouldn't work on the glovebox or your trunk - which you didn't mention so I'm assuming your key will open your trunk.
I have a strange key problem with my car that the console and trunk locks work with the valet keys, not the nice plastic ended regular keys that are supposed to open everything.

I can't think of any good reason why we would. The shear simplicity of the design might have made sense in the past but the availability of good parts that make water cooling and FWD easier to implement make rear engine, air cooled setups obsolete.
The rear engine setup was largely a space saving thing. Well FWD works just as well for that need once we were able to mass produce good CV ...

Don't know what the stock differential for the Miata is in Forza 3, if it's open, the next level diff upgrade should be allowed.

It's a style bar, effectively worthless. I'd remove it, get an Oris windblocker and you'll get an actual windscreen that works.

I can't speak to the FM kits as I have no experience, but on the BEGi side, you need to allocate some funds for fuel/engine management. Read this thread
Also, with both kits, reserve some funds for a good high-flow cat and turbo exhaust.
If funds are tight, the BEGi-S is a great starter kit. You can upgrade as needed later.
If funds aren't a problem, then get a Meqasquirt...
