It sounds like the % of failures never crossed some magical threshold, and who knows, maybe there was a switch suppliers or something. Checking on what YOUR emmision warreny should not be too hard, check the manual. Usually the emmsion warrenty is a seperate card, because it varries a bit based on where the car was sold. The dealer should be able to tell you. Try calling 1-800-ask-mini, have your vin# handy. They should be able too look it up...

Missed this thread last week but do know that many people run their tires at an okay pressure but that pressure is low enough that a change of 15-20 degrees over night will make the sensors read an error. Read this post for all you ever wanted to know about the TPMS system in the 2008 and above MINI http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...80-post12.html

can't tell you what the first part is. second part, multiple reasons. dsc could be connected to the first problem. when you say it wouldn't pull you were in "Limp mode" and the car basically cuts itself off to prevent any damage. definitely get the car to a code reader and figure out what's going on. i'm not sure if the OBD scanner will pick up the DSC/possible wheel bearing issue, my ...

There's no "adjustment" for this... though somewhere, in the internals, I think it's just a matter of it triggering when it reads a particular voltage... so it's certainly possible that someone with the proper skills (not me) could modify the circuit to trigger earlier... But you can block the flap open all the time or remove it altogether. That said... why? The engine is NOT starved ...

Have had clutches replaced under warranty on both of my MINI's... Just had my clutch replaced at 25k miles...under warranty. This is a very dealer dependent thing, if they will warranty it or not. If the clutch is simply worn out...and they see no other signs of damage, they might not warranty it. But, if they see any part of it failed...throwout bearing or pressure plate like you say, ...

I just did exactly what he did in the video last week with my R56 and it seemed to work wonders. I actually repeated the process 3 times...ultimately using the whole can. The smoke that comes out is sooo fun. I highly recommend any R56 owner to do a SeaFoam treatment through the PCV tube ASAP if you have 30k+ miles. I downshift. I grew up with cars with bad syncros, so I've always double-clutched. I'm actively trying to ween myself from that habit - although it doesn't harm anything and is probably good.

Long story short. I went to Maine on the 19th and came back today. while driving home, there was pouring rain for about 60 miles. I drove 70 mph (65 mph is the speed limit) through the rain with dsc on. the dsc lighted up frequently. now heres the strange part. right after it rained the roads were starting to dry and i drove another 60 miles, i could not feel any vibration. but for the rest ...
