most people on here go to a mechanic to get diagnostics, so we got no info to give. no idea what my local mechanic uses, but it's good, and apparently cost him about £3,000. you sure you want to go this far?

Yep, the two problems may be linked.
Repair the wiring and take the car for a drive. If the fault light doesn't clear you may need to get the code read and reset the light.

Its not great mate. TBH I don't think theres never a 'right time' to sell a car, especially one where the manufacturer went bust several years ago.

Hi Mate,
You sure you searched for hours??
Anyway, yes, as a company AA Autosport seem to be the best at doing this. Just to be clear, this isn't converting your standard engine from NASP to turbocharged, this is the swap from your K-Series to the T-series and I think you have to supply the donor car/parts.
Ashy on here did it himself and the thread is immese, so I suggest you have a ...

(That was a long sentence lol). I think...

Points on your licence wont affect anything unless its for drink, careless or Dangerous driving. Most insurance companies wont even hike your premium for SP30 or SP40 points.
Every man and his dog has 3 points these days !
You cant split the points from the fine .. You can only try to get off by going to court - But then you risk getting more points than 3.

Now there's a question. All depends on budget but some car's I'd like are quite old.
I have a thing for older Mercedes from the 80's, Once had a V8 S class on an E plate and that was a very nice car indeed. Sold that to a family member and its still going strong.
I'd also quite like a 3.9 EFI land rover or Range rover, mainly for the noise but also because they are some of the most ...
