Wescott, where did you work and in what capacity? My father was a petroleum engineer his entire career. He was also a technical director of the SPE. If you got the one that sticks on the OEM diffuser, then you have to cut a bigger opening on the OEM diffuser to fit the tips.

I am trading my '04 C320 sedan in on Monday ( July 6, 2009) so I removed the OEM BIX I installed about a year ago and put the stock frosties back in. They work fine and the only thing missing is the black trim around the lights. I had to use the trim from the stock lights on these and had to put them back after the swap.
