Store Front URLs
Published (2009-11-18 17:57:00)
This is the URL to your storefront to use at places like Facebook: http://stores.lulu.com/PastorBrady Once you get there, you can customise it (by clicking on "Customise Storefront" in the top right hand corner). There is a "save" button in the top area once you're in the "customising" function, which you need to click on after you've made changes and before you leave your storefront otherwise it will...

If all you want is sound, an MP3 file is just as good as a CD, or, going up a step, a CD is just as good as an analog vinyl recording. Likewise, if all you want are words on a page, an ebook or a POD book is just as good as anything...

Tulips! Calendar for 2010
Published (2009-11-21 10:20:00)
This is a lovely calendar, but I think you should make your name bigger on the front cover, also give the name of the type of bulb, bottom right of the picture. All in all though, it is a lovely calendar and very colourful. Well done.

The majority of books are still bought in brick and mortar stores, by people who do not visit self-publishing/POD forums to vote in such polls. Keep that in mind. Take web polls with a grain of salt (assuming your blood...

Margins and whatnot for 9 x 7...
Published (2009-11-21 07:34:00)
I managed to get by with Garamond 10 in my 6x9 book but good luck with your 9x7. I remember not thinking that my original word doc was 8.5x11 and ran it into a 6x9 earlier on so you can imagine that nightmare of converting and twiddling around with text, redoing page numbers, margins, and gutters too. By the time we're all done with our projects we sort of become experts with Word even though there's tons of more things I could learn.

I'd be glad to do what I can. It may depend somewhat on the format in which you've written your book. Did you do the entire thing in Word, for instance?

Sadly you are still not setting the beginning of your chapters to the left - you are indenting.
Your page numbering would be better centred rather than to the left of every page.
Commas are missing and there are some errors.
I can't understand why you are double spacing, but maybe that is just for the Preview chapters you are showing prior to publication.

you have answered your own question. If you have permission to do so then usually you can. But even so you also need to check if those images can be used for 'commercial' use or not, that is, are you using it in anything that you are selling, and if you are then some people will not let you use their images.

The all black cover with the title and your name only on it, lets you down. A cover covered in numbers of all sizes would probably have been much better. The words are not even centred.
Do you really mean to say the word math instead of maths or mathematics? There are also a number of commas missing, which would have made the reading of it easier.
I think people might just be ...

I am not sure about Photoshop. I would not have thought it was right for creating a cover image. However, it needs to be the exact size/shape that your book will be and at 300dpi, preferably a jpg. 2 imagesin fact, a different on for the back and front.

a lot of people here use both. I am intending to do so myself with my future projects.
However, you'll have to use 2 different ISBN's.

Soooooo, what you are saying is that you think it is a good marketing strategy to create the UGLIEST PAGE POSSIBLE by littering your website with dozens of links to books that may or may not be of interest to your target market? And for what...to go from 5,000,000 to 2,000,000 on the books search at google? Really?
Sorry, I spend too much time with legitimate marketing to attract ...
