By chance I noticed that 9W's transatlantic departures left very late on Thursday, due to the snow delays. Anyways I thank Jettie for having the courage to share it around here with us. Basically, what they're doing is that they're firing you and kindly placing you with a new employer, so no matter what, you are entitled to the typical compensation... which is more than you'd pull out of 3 years of non-reving standby...

Hello guys , It's now official, Brussels Airlines will create a new airline in RDC. But I have a small question : do you think they will hire pilots/staffs from Belgium or from Congo? Is there any chance that they will hire ab initio pilots? Regards, Adrien

We believed Al Gore that the earth is heating up, so we didn't invest in ice age equipment.

I have the idea that Ryanair will not be happy about it. After the sale of Stansted, Ryanair wanted to also force the sale of Gatwick. Let's wait for the press release very soon.

Indeed, Amadeus is also showing zero availability for the coming 3-4 days, and after that just 4 seats in Business and First class. I guess yield will go up now too, I certainly hope so. Jet Airways deserves it and let's hope they'll send the 77Ws a bit more again. Anyone know of an extra flight coming up maybe? (Bangalore relaunch? Hyderabad maybe?)
