Yes it can be deactivated - but you need the PIN to be able to do it (as you do to programme a new fob). All the instructions are here - Remote Key Fob & Immobilizer Programming Any Lotus dealer can supply you with the PIN - you just need to provide proof of ownership and they make a request to Hethel for the PIN (usually a small charge - ~$15 or so). You should get the PIN even if you don't do anything else!

So basically, depending on paint selection, a fully loaded Evora will run between $84-$90k. That's a bit higher than originally targeted. I'm sure there will be a ton of people on this forum and other screaming about the price but while the Elise and Exige buyer is part of their target audience, we are not the core of it. They are looking at 911 buyers and not the ones that would be tracking ...

Will it use an air/air or air/water intercooling? Will the piggy back ECU be included in the price? What turbo are you planning on using for 300RWH at 7 PSI? Will your setup included a Walbro 255 pump? Very interested at that price point?

I have driven the 370Z. Fun car, better daily driver. But it's not the Lotus. This is my suggestion for choosing a car. Imagine yourself owning the 370Z. If a Lotus drives by on the street, will you wish that was you??

Agreed, it was definitely more aggressive in person. The photos just didn't seem to capture the way the rear fenders bulge and flare out. I was honestly skeptical at first, but as soon as we walked into the showroon, it was awesome. It definitey feels more 'real car'-like than an Elise... courtesey lights, leather covering the dash and sills, comfy seats, very solid feeling with the ...

The 260 has upgraded 'everything',the clutch, trans, etc are redone, the list of goodies and upgrades, even excluding the carbon bodywork, is extensive and listed at the Lotus factory site. The 'go fast' bits (Accusump, traction and launch control, upgraded suspension and motor/trans/suspension,)Hans seats could, of course, all be added to a 240, but when you add the price of doing so, the 260 ...
