When the botox wears off though the pores will appear large again. Hence yes, it makes them look smaller but they return to their pre Botox state, so nothing physically shrinks them, just gives the appearance of having done so. Same as glabellar lines, it makes them disappear but they return to exact same state after it wears off. I just thought the article was misleading, as if this was a permanent solution for refining pores, whereas...

high lamellar SMAS lift
Published (2009-11-23 22:21:00)
http://books.google.com/books?id=a0Jk1I ... on&f=false So I think the key thing is not the high incision - it's how large the smas flap is. I also think this method of lifting the malar pads was rejected by Hamra in his paper a shortterm success, a longterm failure. He then went from deep plane to composite. I know Dr Yang on mmh always says that the midface part of a lift like the deep plane/extended smas does not last as long...

Hey, I think you have to consider things like chest width and stuff like that as well as height and weight. Have a look at the stickie with all the girls stats on, I found that really usefull. I am now 5 days post op I am 5'6 and about 8st 9lb and I had 425cc unders. I told my surgeon I wanted a full C cup and for it to look natural. At the mo I am a DD, but I think once the swelling goes down ...

There is no set time as everyone is told differently depending on your operation. The only one who will be able to give you the answer will be your PS. Some girls have been able to shower within hours, some of us weeks. Soaking in a bath, wont be advisalbe until your scars are closed and healed.

Mani on mmh talks about the high lamellar too. He implies he invented it. Or at least he said he was presenting it at a US conference. I'm confused if it is the same lift that Marten does although I found the same as you when I googled. I've been meaning to research this again.

The name most frequently noted for tear troughs is Raman Malhotra (oculoplastic surgeon) He has practises at Chelsea in London and East Grinstead. It's £170 for the consultation and £400 per vial for the fillers, so if you need 2 as most people do it would be around £800 for the fillers.

I think people will be hesitant to reply to this post - if you are not an advertiser ? Beware this field is full of sham and trickery. Have you paid for you opperations ? Have you met the surgeon ? What about traveling back for after care. Keep in mind that it is easy to find couple of people happy with ANY surgeon. What really are the main factors that made you decide to book these ...

Carla, maybe it's not as bad as you think it is? I hated mine and then posted some photos here and got a completely opposite reaction here on forum, they made me realise it really isn't that bad. Maybe you need to open up a little, talk to someone impartial, not the surgeon or nurse at transform. Or put photos up here. Believe me, it will help. It's hundred times worse when you're hiding at home,...
